just tested the crawler/foff. pretty good. i got it.up to speed amd it ran very well. then.i.wrnt to my course and crawled. yes it.bogged at low end but.once you.get past that ot crawled great. the.rig handled well even with a huge 2s on the front and the.esc hanging off the side.. connected on the side of the tranny. but hanging off a lot. the.sv2 should fix that. but.im happy so far. still wondering if i need a new chassis

depending on how long you make it and the amount of shock positions u put will also depend on if its crawling tolerible or not.

i saw some foffs just using stock chassis. i will just keep it. lower it, straighten the links in rear, shorten in front.

got the sv2 ordered. ill place an order on a 3s lipo.

need to put a bigger pinion on i think. maybe a 23t if i can get it.in.

ill do some work soon. maybe make some mounts to raise the shocks and lower the truck. atleast in the front.

now a question, with the almost 4:1 tranny ratio in this thing, my high kv, this should mean my motor has an easier time moving the truck correct? it seemed like the first start up got a little warm but then i lubed tranny and tested.and it didnt seem bad. does anyone know better gearing tips for this thing. i have no.idea on how to do gearing and its a pain to change.pinions in this thing unless there is some trick.

NICE! Good work! That's the motor I run in my rally car, I had to cut back the gearing an run 2s with it! When I would full throttle from 2/3 throttle, I could get the thing to float! Lose all steering an barrel roll or just have to back down all together.. I could even run full throttle! It's nice now. Still can't run 3s an control it.. lol... Sweet setup! Can't wait to see some pics of it moving, maybe video? Thinking of getting paddles for it yet.. glad to see new life in it either way, way better then selling it!

the motor has good torque and power like you said from half on up to full. ill.be running a 3s with this. i dont really have sand, just like mountain bike trails and stuff. some places have steep loose dirt or very steep. 75* up incline of grass, small rocks, dirt. slick stuff. these rovers hook up.well in dort and grass so.maybe just remove weight up front to make it easy to.roll. i will make a video of it on the street and yard when the sv2 gets in cuz now i have a huge 2s hanging on by a zip tie and a huge.esc dangling around after every brake i do. hah.

im.glad i didnt sell.it.

only place with sand is the cement places
