Got my rig fixed and ready to go with some different tires thanks to AxialJeepster who sent me driveshafts, axial wraith wheels and ripsaws, a novak m2 dig esc (which hopefully will be put in soon), along with some 1.9 flatirons and some mini beadlocks with no charge what so ever

Got the package today thanks to the mailman

the new driveshaft in

the novak m2 dig esc

Ripsaws on venom beadlocks

what the truck looks like with ripsaws (which are huge)

some metal work I did also
some rock slider type things

and some bed pieces

And thanks again to AxialJeepster

Imax B6. Its around 20 USD if you order it from China. You will need a 12V 5A power supply too, or you can make one from a PC power supply.

wow man that look really nice with the venom wheels and saws the size is perfect i think! that thing should hoss anywhere now

oh and some info for you to take in.

with those bigger tires now your going to want to keep an eye on your spider gears, they will let go very easily.
get the cheap venom lockers if you can or make some... Im sure you will swap everything over to axial down the line.

Woe! Easy on the creeper Ryan! It's the motor that puts power to the spiders you have to worry bout, not what tires are bein used! I do suggest lockers tho.. cheap an easy.. pack em full of mighty putty.. my favorite, Rmdw Lincoln lockers.. I here the venom one work good as well..

No need to switch to axial, anything! Not on a creeper..

What would be a good complete set of links with a wheelbase of 11-1/2" to 12" and all for around $20-$25?

So i've been tinkering with the truck and have been taking it out on a few drives but I've noticed that it kind of gets boring when you are by yourself instead of like crawling or trailing with a friend. So I found a great deal here on rcc for a set of venom axles and venom trans. And hopefully gonna make another scaler for someone to go trailing with me.
So far parts list:
venom axles
venom trans
venom 55t fireball motor
novak m2 dig esc
1.9 beadlocks with proline flat irons
What I need:
steering servo (probably another towerpro)
links for 4 link ( Like to get some cheap ones for around $20-$25
shocks( some cheap ones also like $15-$20)
radio and receiver

If anyone has some links aluminum or plastic and wants to get rid of them or sell them for cheap just pm me.

4-40 threaded rod and tubing that fits over the rod. 3/16 inch tube I believe but it may be 1/4 inch. Also traxxas rod ends will work on the 4-40 rod. Make sure you cut the tubing about 1/2 an inch shorter then the threaded rod so there's room to screw on the rod ends.

Yep .25" brake line will fit right over the threads.. revo rod ends fit it best, but can use the creeper ones if ya tap em a little bigger to fit.

Since I've gotten the new axles and trans I have decided to do a new truck
What I have:
Venom Axles
Venom Trans
Venom Driveshafts
'72 Chevy Body (for now)
1.9 proline flat irons and losi mini wheels
custom made scale chassis

What I am going to get and still need:
wraith shocks
homemade links
servo
tx and rx
screw kit for the venom creeper

Hopefully getting all this in the next couple of months
Low Budget ):

I got some things done on the truck like an interior and a hood scoop. Take a look. I also am starting a new truck if you read the earlier posts and all i am waiting on now is the tx and rx, servo, and the esc and the servo and esc are coming from china so iit will take awhile.

Heres the pics

Not the best interior or hood scoop but the best I can do at the moment and it works for me

I found out today that in my new axles that I had a bad bearing in the outerside of the steering knuckle and my new truck is almost done just waiting on the esc and a new bearing so if anyone has a bearing for the outside of the steering knuckle ( the smaller bearings) I need one. thanks for looking

There could be lock tite on those screws. You could try fitting a pair of vise grips in the transmission case and see if u can get it out that way otherwise i have never seen this before.
