It was orange for a while, this is the 2nd body. I did paint the outside of the orange body black... it'll be a backup. |

Nice looking LEDs John, and the stacks look mean as hell on there! Definately the finishing touch IMO.

Yup, mighty fine led's. I mounted the rear using the bezels I got from you with Melons lights. I also added a hitch thanks to Neil Larson. |

It hurt to do it bt I drilled a couple of holes through the body for the lights to run through. I also cleaned up the window trim with a Sharpie. Next is to rework the trailer hitch. |

I was able to recess the hitch back about half an inch. |

thanks Hunter, I'm thinking I should have cut the wires and made a much smaller hole in the body... live and learn.

I added a ledge to the bed for the bungi cords to attach to. Also a few scale items. |

I think the full size spare just looks too big on the side. I might run it on the bed for ECSC and then after the comp mount the smaller tire on he side. |

I like the idea of the side mounted spare, but it looks better in the bed imo.

I agree, the idea of the side mounted spare is cool but it just doesn't look right on there.

| Re: C1 34' Ford flatbed dually I do too. My dad has a Model A that we pulled one off of when he started modifying it into a street rod. Thats how they were, but in this case it just doesn't flow with the lines IMHO. Not to mention throwing off the balance of the truck. Having the weight flat on the bed gives John the best scenario for holding decent COG which doesn't hurt with this being a leaf sprung truck .

Thanks for the input guys. HD, you are right about the cog. I was also worried about it getting hung up while hanging off the side. I do think once ECSC is over, I'll mount the smaller MTZ tire on the side... I do like the look of it but yeah, this Mud Thrasher is just too big. |

looking good john. Quote:
you should cut a little square piece of lexan, put a little hole in it, then cut to the hole, put your wires through it, then shoegoo or just simply tape that thing behind the big hole in the body. that would clean it up quite a bit. | |
