| LOL you are right about that walt! And thanks for letting me use them. I'll get them out to you ASAP. It will definitely be cool if i can get it to work. I hope you do try it but it is something you want to take you're time learning. It's taken me more than 15 years to get this far with it. |

Radiator supports? Inner fenderwells? The scale madness never stops! If you actually make a scale radiator for that thing, that's gonna be over the top. This build deserves some magazine coverage IMO. I see you're into resin casting now. The grill looks good, that is not an easy piece to replicate with all that detail. Nice job! Is that the reason for the foray into casting? Breakable light lenses and window glass? Now that would be sick! |

There was a little blurb in Xtreme RC Cars magazine (Issue 178 - Oct) in Inside Line (pg20) about the videos he posted on Youtube. I'm sure if you contact them they'll do a feature on this rig. |

| I started on the mold for the inner fenders but no pics yet. Quote:
I Do have some ideas for the radiator It would be neat to get it in a mag but i won't hold my breath. Yes the grill was a pain but fun to replicate. Yep the whole reason was to make breakable plastic parts. whats the point of having a body that dents if you don't have lights and a grill that brakes! Quote:

| Thank you! I finally got some progress. It might not seem like much but it is pretty momentous since the cab is now all one piece. like my last molds i started with clay to reproduce the shape of the inner fenders. Then latex and resin Then the final parts Finally i glued them in place and there you go, inner fenders Next are some panels to cover the ends of the cowl, then the hood latch support, door window channels, and the inside of the tailgate and to body will be done!!! I am so close i can taste it! |

This is just ridiculous. I can't imagine the time and effort you've put into this. Truly a work of art. Can't wait for the next update.

Thanks Man! A little bit more progress, Got the front fenders all mounted (i have smaller hardwhere on order) and i cast another grill just to find another bubble! anyways it will serve as a good stand in for the final one so i can mock up my bumper and winch mount. And here is a shot with all the panels in place for everyone to drool over^_^ | |||

With all due respect, I think the fully dressed product isn't nearly as impressive as once you start peeling off the outer layer to see what's underneath. Flip it over and show off what's underneath, open the hood, open the doors, look inside... THAT's where the magic is! And it is some kind of magic. The proper smiley isn't available: it would be one of me applauding. Edit - but for all that talent and attention to detail, you still have the RF tire on backwards. |
