i got that esc too, but with a 45t motor on 3s and yes it awsome, tons of power, i broke my previous transmission setup in 15 minutes. and their customer service is top notch! i gues i musta got a bad esc and they replaced it fast!

i didn paint them. Its the original powdercoat. He used a soft paint and it peeled right off w/ out effort, so gonna light sand, primer, and use some metallic silver with clear coat to try and see if that works better.

Very nice work mang......looks spot on!!

Question for you on F shocks...did you get the soft set of springs with that delrin slider? If so how much softer are they then stock?. I am using the same shocks on my build and the stock springs are stiff as hell. Have been searching and playing around with different springs trying to get the ride height where I want it. thx

ive read this build thread a couple times now!

this rig is SICK!!!!!!!

great work!!!

now you must tell me, how is your cage mounted to the rig??

i thought it was brazed to the frame, but i just noticed that this is probably not true!!

i'm about to start my TJ build, and would love to know your secret!

thanks!

thank you for the kind words im glad my build captured ur attn more than once lol

So what i did was on the front where the origional cage mounted i filled that area in with styrene fill peices..
put a lower styrene plate on the underneath side.
and drill a hole big enough for a bolt
in the back just drilled a hole in the 2 back corners where the tube meets the body
on the front and rear down tubes i tapped the tube to 6/32 thread
then just put the screws throught the body and into the tube and bam interchangable cages!
the center down tubes slide into the body between the door and door panel so hidden from view but look built in...

rear

front
