Good luck with your build. If you are missing anything specific you think I might have just shoot me a message. I would be glad to help out if I can.

Sad to see you giving up on the Lcc stuff. I understand though. Good luck with the new parts.

trying to round up some steering parts since my axles came from a CMS'd vehicle and has nothing I can use. :-) I am also missing a spur and I will need a pinion for this puller motor I am using. I tried to get one yesterday at the hobby shop but they didn't have any that fit this motor. It's a 4mm shaft which is very odd.

What steering parts do you need? That would be the only things I would have. Maybe. I typically make my own stuff.

Well today I only had one small job in the morning so I got home and lunch time and fired up the heater in the shop. Managed to get the servos installed and transmission going. Having some issue with the drive shafts, but I put some thread lock on them and maybe they will hold. The 7t Puller is fricken ridiculous for power! I am running 15t pinion on 87t spur with 2s lipo. All powered by a waterproof HH BRXL. I can almost do wheelies except for the weight in the front wheels. I need full metal gears in this thing quick!

Love the power. I may want one of those motors.

It doesn't feel quite at solid as the LCC guts did. The power out of this motor is awesome. Can't do more then 2s on it, but it's more powerful then the old on 3s. I fear stuff is going to break easily. I just hope I can make it through a few courses. I need to practice a lot! Never drove a rear steer before. It does not flex as well with these axles as it did with the lcc. They have different mount points and it threw off the rear suspension.

I know the feeling about being affraid of breaking parts. I also have had suspension problems too. It is all frustrating but when you figure it all out it is pretty rewarding.

Yeah I bet it feels different. And it did seem like your bug had a lot of flex before.

yeah, I lost a lot of flex in the rear end. I had the rear shocks spaced out for the other axles. The front was ok since the front shocks mount to the frame. The frame is now narrower then it was because the axial skid is narrower. The rear shocks though are mounted to the tube work and so they stayed wide. I could fix it super easy if I had a longer screw. So I might just fix it the day of the comp. :-)

I have some pretty long M3 screws if you want some.

That's the size the axial axle link/shock mounts use. I bought then to outboard my Hilux shocks on the a axle mounts. Is that where you need them for?

I don't know. I'm using lcc links which are smaller.

Grr I need some ears for the servo mounts. The ones I stole from another right aren't working. I did drive it quite a bit and think I have it figure out. Biggest problem most people have with 4ws is using mixing. I have it set to full manual control and it works so much better. The mixing often put the rear in ways it shouldn't go.

I have servo mounts/ears if you want to try them.

On my Bronco, I reversed the third channel, then set up mixing. Would this help you?

Got in some driving today. Watch for the video on that. This is what it looks like reassembled. I have to redo the spare tire mount, but other then that it's running good. Need a couple servo mount ears and maybe some more thread lock. :-)
