I may have missed it but I noticed in the comp vid, the tires look full width. Did it work as well as with the narrowed versions and why did you switch?

After getting a Berg I never thought I'd buy another chassis for the Axial... but all this SSS testing has me REALLY wanting to try one out.

Great marketing strategy!

Don, when these kits are ready to ship who will have them so we can all get in line! I got my Mantis at RCHQ, they'll have them I assume, anyone else? Will you be shipping black & white chassis in the first batch? I have a feeling you're going to sell a lot of these...

We are working on final revisions as I type. This is a special kind of chassis and can't be rushed out as everything has to be just right in order for it to be user friendly enough for a production run I promise I will personally make sure to post in multiple locations when these guys go out. Any local shop can get a hold of our products and that will be no different for these...so don't be afraid to ask the LHS about them too...once they go out that is

You have delrin as well. It has a bead blast finish for that flat look...

Yes. When I played paintball we dyed some of our delrin parts just using Rit dye a big pot you never want to see again and some hot water. (not too hot you don't want to warp anything).

Hey Don,

Could you post some detailed pics of the BTA setup you're running? I am looking to do the same thing and was trying to figure out servo placement and if I need to cut the tray or not.

Thanks,

Tim

Here's pics of before...the new mount works without being cut tho. I just can't take more pics cuz all my parts are in process of getting color and thus not mounted together to make a complete rig at this point in time

I must have an old style plate then because there is no way the servo is going to work in a BTA setup without cutting something. Currently it would only allow about half of the servo's motion.
