Now that is the best $11.99 I have spent on this hobby. I do not expect it to do hard metals, but 6061 aluminum and delrin will be no problem. I got the braces made out of 3m tapped 1/4" delrin rod and cleaned up the wiring a bit. I'll do new lower front links tomorrow night. Here are the electronics placement pics that were requested. Every time I get a new tool I wonder how I got by all those years with just a dremel and my hands... |

I just came in from my urban testing grounds. It is not the rocks, but gives me an idea of what to expect from the rig. The weight difference up top is noticeable, and the hardest climb I have here is easy again, like it was with the FF-4. It certainly is driving better than last weekend. A new set of delrin fronts and maybe new upper and lower rears tomorrow night and it should be good to podium on Saturday |

Looks good with the set you got. Here's a tip I have tested and figured out works real well on Delrin, use mineral oil (or baby oil, up to you) to coat the drill/tap and I find that it works incredible to reduce friction... and its dirt cheap and lasts forever I am using m3 hardware all around on my car and so far no issues, heck even my 1/8 truggy, weighing in at like 10 LBS uses m3 without issues (for most stuff ) |

I won todays comp! I just wasn't feeling the shape of the silver side panels, and the top needed some sort of deflector at the front, I only had black paint left, but am happy with the results. |

| You're actually all running different chassis'.....Duuuuuuuuude is on an F-4, yours is an FF-4 and Richard, as a Team Driver has one of only three Bodiless FF-4's. You could make it a Trifecta though |

But like Juan said, if you get a second place finish we'll have a trifecta. Last edited by Duuuuuuuude; 06-26-2010 at 11:43 PM.

Congrats on the win Richard!! And the skins look killer...I dig the stealth look. Now that you've had some good face time with this rig, I gotta know how it compares to the FF-4...I know the geometry is about the same...but does it "FEEL" similar?...better, worse, same...whats up? Congrats again And Juan, "Would you heal up already!...I'm dyin' here!" Seriously though, I hope you're feeling better soon. I can't wait to get one of these. - |

Thanks for the comments guys. Quote:
It drives amazing. It climbs, sidehills, and settles like the FF-4, is even more predictable and descends better

First of all props on your comp win and that video is impressive. I couldn't believe the steering throw with those Sedonas I'm like that with Rovers but I'd be rubbing big time with Sedonas. What are you doing at the front of that rig?
