Received the Vitavon brass portal covers for the front of my Capra last week and did my first extreme vertical runs today. Awesome performance improvement!

AWESOME! Thank you for the Valuable Feedback.

We were honestly hoping that a pair of the Team Vitavon Racing Brass Portal Cover will increase capability of the Capra for Vertical Climbs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijkaGHxsD00

A decade ago, the only option was to load the front wheels of our Rock Crawlers with lead. We had to figure-out much lead by doing tests on the Rock Trail. I do admit putting additional weight did install improve on the Rock Crawlers Capability for Vertical Climbs.

BUT not longer possible for the Capra Portal as there is minimal space between wheel and the portal -- unless leads is installed in the outer side of the wheels/ inner by the side of the foam/tire. Troublesome/difficult.

We also were thinking if it was necessary to have the "option" of variable weights?

We decided to keep things simple and straightforward, easy to install/Swap-out, and improve of Performance Capability of the Competition Scale Rock Crawler.

Thanks for your Interest and Support. Please Enjoy!

Have you driven any of those rigs? They all look like shelf queens.

That's a cool little buggy...luv it, especially how the rear part of the cage is curved tubes, as opposed to straight tubes.

Chassis was HandCrafted by one of the Best in RCCrawler History -- Hulkwerks!

Project: The Rock Bug

Tracy Jordan, Driver of 1:1 Spidertrax Rock Bug wanted to Commission us to do one for him, as well.

Thru the years, I had the opportunity to ENJOY the TXT-1 Campbell Enterprise Buggy featured in 1:1 4x4 magazine, Ecoli Campbell Buggy, Nasty Girl, Avalanche Engineering Spider, Poison Ivy, XXX-Traction, and more.

Everything was from a pencil sketch of the Original 1:1 Pictures. Then HandCrafted by the Great Guys here from all our the World! Yes, each can take many months to complete. That was our idea of Fun! ENJOY!

Had these since last your for various builds.

Real Nice 1/10 LED bar that fits the Capra - powered 5.2V-6V directly via RX. LED got a selection of Flash/Blinking Patterns via on/off button. Best, it's Super Cheap at below $10

Team Vitavon Racing Brass Portal Cover and NEW Brass Axle Weights

Brass Portal Cover add weights on the front and rear wheels, to help keep tires grounded and improve scaling and descending capability of a rock crawler.

Brass Axle weights front and rear help balance and anchor front and rear end/tires, as model goes up and down. Brass Portal Cover and the Axle Weights allow us fine-tuning options to improve performance.

Fine Tuning Options/Tools

Best when fine-tuned vis-a-vis your choice of damper set-up, Shock Spring, Shock Oil, for front and rear articulation. And motor pinion, motor turn, drag brake settings, use of overdrive gears. And use of a Dig. Performance Improvement can be Significant when done correctly, especially when with kit plastic wheels and plastic axle housing. Please do fine tuning one step at a time.

Exactly How much Weight?

There is NO definitive rule of how much weight on the front and rear wheels and axles. Best is to do a Trial and Error on the actual rock terrain or something similar. Considering personal driving style and lines you choose. With the new set-up, you might have to change the way you drive and and choice of lines to pick -- as choices opens-up based on increased performance capability of your Rock Crawler and New driving skills/Technique.

Installation Tips

Please do not over tighten the screws that secure brass portal cover and brass axle weights. It can cause sever bind. Back of a turn or two, for smooth meshing of axle portal gears.

Thank You for your interest and Support. Please ENJOY!

The New Futaba 7PX-R got improvements on the Super Response System, Lighter/Weight re-Distribution, and a Bigger Home DSP, and Power Button. Plus RED Screws and and discreet Carbon Fibre Highlights to emphasis on R- fo Racing.

Yes, Significant Improvements and subtle Refinements, which mostly Futaba 7PX Drivers can Sense and Genuinely Appreciate. Thanks Team Futaba!
