Almost done building my kit. Rather than go wild with the paint job, I decided to buy some decals and do an orange camo-ish design, and I'm trying to figure out how I want to cut & lay the decals out to accomplish this. So far I'm not thrilled with any of my designs.

Added a Proline 4" led light bar. Runs off a 3s battery and throws a lot of light.

Installed 2.2 Hyrax with Proline Two Stage Foams and removed the spare tire and carrier. Looks much better and also performs much better.

I also updated the Castle MMX ESC to the latest firmware and set it to use Rock Racer / Crawler Mode. Awesome!!!

Got my first bomber cage in the mail and spent a couple hours building it up. Swapped in the upgraded trans out of my yeti t(hat already had a vp motor plate and cam) and put on a Robinson racing slipper. Then took the entire rear suspension off the yeti and put it on the bomber except for the shocks. Now the bomber has a built ssd centered wide ssd diamond axles , vp trailing arms, vp uppers and a mip.

Just waiting on a response from the dog now....

Beef tubes in addition to HR sway bar kit only the rear needed.. Changed the handling drastically. I can crawl with all the axial guys like nothing even though i m running a 4300 Pro4 with a Castle MMP.
I believe the rear shocks have a light weight in them but the front have heavier and it works really well..
I tried putting a winch on it but i never came up with a good design.

Swapped the ssd wide diamond axle for a full ssd rear end with diamond centered wraith axle, then thru on a ssd diamond front axle with vp links and mips. Also ordered a full set of aluminum panels

This set up is temporary till the b1b kits come in stock.

I’m building my bomber into a u4 style although I don’t race. Since it uses yeti parts you can either use a stock rear axle with different size hubs, or go with an axial or ssd wide axle. Personally I went ssd wide diamond

Any ways the panels I ordered came in, and wow they are a work of art!!!

Added some goodies, brass tubes, VP stage one kit and servo mount, Locked Up RC FI spools, and an aluminum truss. Axles should be plenty strong now.

Hey Jeepgeek,
I see you are running the 4300 Pro 4. How do you like that motor in your bomber? I have been eyeballing the same motor for my bomber, but wasn't sure if it would be too much for it. I want to mostly crawl with it, but would also like to have some good wheel speed for bashing. What's your thoughts?

Took my rig to the local CKRC to run the new 2 speed setup and unsensored brushless (this was borrowed) system in it to try it out. Ran it on the race track they have and destroyed my front diff xD Currently running 3 wheel drive. Got a upgraded diff, a mamba x and 2800kv motor combo, some shock parts and a 13t pinion so lots of new goodies to install. Worked real well in the rocks even with the unsensored motor and busted diff in the front.

Changed over to XT60 plugs on everything.

Swapped out the Hyrax in favor of the Baja KR2’s, stuffed with CI Dueces Wild foams. These tires are 100 times better looking that the Axial version.

Ripped around on the new KR2 tires. Definitely less grip than the Hyrax in the grass and dirt but still grippy on some rocks and rubble.
