Thanks Mr.J! Yes, I'm really liking the power of the winch... it moves pretty fast though so I'm using a Rogue Elements Snatch Block to cut the speed in half (and double the pulling power! ) So, after looking at more pics of roof racks, I think I'll just stick with this one. They all go at least halfway over the rear windows. |

Johnny, thanks for the link to this build. I LOVE this car. So many great ideas, and so much money to spend that I don't have, LOL |

BTW, yes, you can bend everything past the plastic part. Just be carefull about it. There is a resistor inside the plastic sleeve and if you bend it in the right spot it'll break. If you have any problems shoot me a PM.

I had a blast at today's gtg, Melons cog feels better but still not where it was. Last edited by johnnyh66; 01-19-2013 at 06:56 PM. |

By far the coolest VW rig I've found on here yet. Love the red on the tubes.

I added more weight to the wheels but she's still not where she was... the cog is better, just not there yet. So I picked up a Pro4 3300 to replace the Pro4 4000 in Hera and was going to put the 4k in my foff and the 33 in Hera... but, I think Melons will rock the Pro4 3300! |

| Re: Buxom Melons: Class 2 VW Beetle and done! The low end seems just as good as the 14t Puller but the top end is at least x 3! |

Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick! I just got back from one of our comp spots and I was wrong... The Pro4 3300 has much better low end control than the 14t Puller. I love this motor! Between my latest round of cog mods and Tekin... all I can say is Buxom Melons is better. |

Melons competed in the first stage of the Northern Indiana TTC Sunday, it was a blast! IThe score aren't up yet but I do know that I did not place in the top 3. I felt that I drove pretty good but I blew one course after hitting an unseen gate, the rest was downhill. Melons' performance has been up'd with the Pro4, I really like this motor. |
