Cool to see that you're still at it! I'm going to be doing a Jeep G6, here in the near future. A friend of mine is selling me a couple of bodies he's not interested in keeping, and one is a full Jeep body kit from a G6 kit, which he bought for the SCX10 chassis alone. The other body is a pre-painted RTR Honcho w/cage, and I might just get some colored Plasti Dip for that.
Right before Christmas, I scored a new Deadbolt pre-roller chassis for a good price, and was going to use it for a special Tonka truck project, but am now thinking I'll pass on that, and just do another lexan body rig. Thinking about getting some beadlocks for it, already. 😄

It's been an especially wet 'n soggy winter, here in the Northwest. I mean, wintertime is always our wettest season, but this one has been awful, with relentless downpours and flooding, which is unusual. I'm looking forward to spring, and am hoping it'll bring some good dry days.

Ya know, I only have one build thread, which was for my short wheelbase SCX10, and an earlier one that I started when I bought my Deadbolt, which was converted to a Jeep Wrangler, and will soon become a Honcho. I'll probably update that thread when I do the Honcho, and maybe start a new one for the Jeep G6, since it'll have its own chassis. Threads are hard to keep updated, but I always appreciate it if people at least make quarterly or semi-annual updates. Haha!

Out playing around the yard tonight after dinner.First time I have had this truck out early March. My best friend that I built the Blue/white '72 Chevrolet for passed away unexpectedly in late March. We ran these trucks together and after his passing I really had no desire to run these trucks anymore.Felt good to get behind the wheel of this truck again. His 72 Chevrolet is on the bench with a cover on it.

Ya know, I had heard of that model, but had never seen pictures of one until earlier this morning, on Instagram, and now I just saw this post. That looks like a really fun truck! I might have to put that on a future wishlist.

Good to see you posting up!

ahh, the good old days. I had one of those, drop the do crap out of it until the plastic halfshaft/dog bones died.replaced it with the high tech(for the time) thorp ball diff and steel dog bones, game on! drove even better, and ran the dog crap out of it more! fun times. great looking truck.makes me want another one now, thanks!

Thanks for the compliments guys.I spent untold hours wrenching and upgrading my original BF.Good times for sure.My new truck runs and handles fairly decent for an 80's design. With the Integy 17t wind motor and LRP speedo,Traxxas steering servo,Big Bore shocks and the Proline Dirt Hawg tires is a pretty neat ride.
