Well, I got tired of having to fix the bead on these stupid Proline tires, so I picked up a set of the Pit Bull II tire and foam combos from Crawler Innovations. Eddie sends this combo ready to bolt up to your wheels. The already have vent holes in the tires (2 per tire) and the foams are installed and labeled (if you bought different from front to rear). These tires mount up VERY easily!!

I took the truck to my local fun spot this morning to knock the shine off of these tires.....they crawl well and they handle the speed of this truck PERFECTLY!

I was just trying to help the city clean off that sidewalk.

I would love to see the look on the city workers faces when they see all of those white circles around there...

Just a note here, if you are running the Axial sway bar in the front, you're gonna have to flip the bolt around that holds the passenger shock/sway bar link.

I am liking this setup. Servo sits low and the truss should make the axle nice and strong. I'll put a pack through it tomorrow....if the rain holds out.
Any pics from below with front steering servo and Dinky mount? Curious how low and close the servo is to links, ground, shock etc.

I dont, but I can snap one for you this evening. The servo is pretty well smashed up against the pumpkin.

A few upgrades for this truck. First, some RCP Ti shafts for the trans (idler gear and top shaft):

Fit and finish is perfect!

Also a new one piece Motor Plate from Super Shafty (http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axles...pur-guard.html):

This piece is nice! Good quality and it uses the 4th mount hole for the motor plate as well....perfect for big brushless power!! Since I run such a large spur gear, I had to extend the motor mount slots....and I am not able to use the gear cover.

And some disc brakes:

It looks like I did have to flip around the shock mount bolt to get my sway bar to clear, but everything else looks good:

Great build man!!! Lots of insperation. On the disc brakes I noticed no calipers, did they not clear? Looking to do this(way) down the road. Thanks.

Thanks!

I really dont know.....I was just too cheap to buy them.

I do plan to use knuckle weights at some point and I figured those rotors would be a good way to hide them......ya know, for "spirit".
