Mamba max pro SCT edition 2400kv. Thought it would be perfect but the motor is too long and hits the lower rear link connection on the skid. Damn!

Plus it's not sensored so it's not a great choice.

That venom ESC may be ok, but it has a very weak internal BEC. 5v at 1amp isn't going to push much of a servo. Plus it doesnt say it has a Lipo Low voltage cut off. It jus says 5volt low voltage cut off.. 5 volts is way to low for a 2s lipo.
The 55t motor is gonna be slower a snail going up hill..
About walking speed is all you'll get out of it.. If your into crawling only it will be fine.. But as soon as you drive off the rock pile you'll be constantly wanting more speed.

Holmes Hobbies came through again. I ordered a custom motor and XBRL about a week ago and I already got an email that its ready and shipping.

Thank you. Now I can get my Wraith off the shelf again.

Thank you Harley for all the help and suggestions

Ok I was wondering what you all thought about a tekin fxr esc with the pro heavy duty 35T motor. Will that motor do ok under water? Is stock gearing ok?

I use a tekin 13.5t redline sensored brushless motor with a RS-Pro esc. I absolute love the combo and it works great for crawling and speedy runs.

Does anybody have any suggestions on what kind of wires I need for my HH Crawlmaster? Does anybody have pictures on where I need to solder the wires so I don't mess this up.

Does anybody have any suggestions on my BRXL wires before I solder my dean connectors? Do I need to extend my wires or keep the length as it is?

12 gauge noodle wire.

Where is very straight forward. There are large square areas on each side.

Mock everything up where it goes and see if the wires reach. Don't over complicate it.

There are 4 square area on top. 2 on each side of the red and black what looks like a capacitor. One of the square has what it looks like a coil attached to it and one end has either the red or black capacitor.

I'd follow the first couple posts. For brushed I wouldn't go lower than 27t if you are going to see any binds (even moderate/light crawling).

How's the build going so far, waiting for more stuff to come in? Roughly, what's your battery choice besides Gen Ace batteries. Hard to find in stock. Looking for high C rating but packed into a small sealed hard case. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 3&2s batteries.
