Made some good progress this weekend! Electronics are wired up, I used a radioshack project enclosure and fit it in the back. This holds my Tekin FXR, Castle BEC, Futaba 614 RX, and hopefully 2 Axial simple LED controllers. Only 1 in there right now but there should be enough room. Also glued some Chrome Axial large light buckets with lenses into the bronco body. Looks a lot more realistic than just a decal. Plus it easily holds the LED. |

Next was a pair of rock lights. I used some Black Axial small buckets mounted to the frame. After that I mounted some taillights and blinkers into the back of the body. Top lights will be 5mm red LED's, lower lights will be 3mm yellow LED's. The Axial light buckets made this way too easy I still need to install the lenses and run all the LED strings. Running total will be: 2 white headlights 2 white front rock lights 5 white on the lightbar 2 red taillights 2 yellow rear blinker/reflectors All powered off 2 Axial Simple LED controllers and Axial LED strings. Looks like I need to replace that servo horn with one of the fancy Axial clamping servo horns too. |

Found an easy way of making a battery tray. I used an old AX10 aluminum tray and the slots for the velcro straps fit perfectly between the shock hoops and main chassis rail. Only had to shave a bit of material off to compensate for the thickness of the plate. Perfect fit Finished off the hinged hood with some traxxas posts for the body clips. I can stuff a 5000mah 3S pack under the hood. G6 Approved You can also see how clean the Radioshack enclosure is in the back. I plan to make it look like a fuel cell to finish it off. |

Lookin' good, man! Wasn't sure the 1.9s were going to look right on a Wraith, but I'm really impressed! And they look perfect with that Bronco body, too. Thought I was set to do a JK Rubicon body for mine, but now I'm not so sure. I was going to try to mirror my 1:1 as much as you can considering it's a 4DR and the DC Rubicon body is a 2DR, but that Bronco looks farkin' sweet! Ready to see the finished project. I'm curious, though.....how'd you hinge the hood from the front? |

That thing looks badass, man! I'm likin' that light bar. I know it's Axial's bar, but is it the same one on the Exo? We need some night time shots with teh rock lights on, too.

I used some 1/4" cable ties from the local hardware store. They fit really well around the stock tube diameter. The holes in the ties are quite a bit larger than the M3 hardware so it gives me some adjustment to make sure the hood lines up.

Hmm, if its urgent I could take it into the bathroom and shut the lights off to snap a pic in the dark JK Super easy. Grill/Hood still need some adjustment and trimming to fit just right. Ill probably end up just driving it and not getting to the finer details as usual.

What light buckets did you use for the rock lights up front?

| Re: Brandon's 1.9 Wraith Build Not much. Axialfest was a few weeks ago so I was really busy with that. Haven't got back on this build yet. I did pick up some new wheels though! Pics below. Thanks Thanks! Trust me, it usually doesn't look that clean |
