Default The Slider

Getting close now, need to adjust the shelf for full clearance with the upper links, make a plate to hold the rx, and clean the wiring up. Ran a few circuits in the yard, loves to climb out of the lake banks, may drop the pinion back to a 19.
Finished the fastback up, clearance the hood for the shocks, and threw a set of lights up front...

Took the diamond from the Yeti and dropped a wide instead, and a matching front !

Just a comment on these SSD diamond axles. I have now built 3 identical axles, HD axial gears, VP shock mounts, Incision lockers, Delrin pinion protector.
I was amazed how everything fit smoothly. Five Star Rating

Well what a great Saturday !
New servo arrived . I liked the Savox 1256 but felt it was a bit slow and weak. It was and is perfect for a 2wd truck, like the one I grabbed it from.
I popped it in and found no rib for my VP servo clamp , so slid the bushings in, loctited the screws and set the voltage at 8.0 finally .
Went out to test, almost too fast and great response in the rip rap. I was used to portals with these ruptures, and knew they could grab. I do need to remember I lost center clearance, but between the Tekin and the Ruptures, OPIE rocked !
Could not get stuck!
I did twist the servo mount, do to the donuts, so I removed them and kept crawling until I noticed a wobble, found I dropped a knuckle screw , and didn't have a short enough one with me so called it a day.

Yeah I drove it.........

After........
Still waiting on usps for my super shafty goodies, then bomb proof trans goes in and we are done !!
Few current shots

Tekin 17.5 gen3 and HH BLE with a CC bec wired in with Deans

Futaba rx on a hinged tray.... everything meets here. Now I need to wrap the wires

The SSD steering links were a major disappointment , but VP was not to be seen. The fix was to make my own drag link and use 16 mm setscrews to keep the tierod together.( First time a piss poor response from RPP) I will replace it with the VP as it matches the other links then
My Savox worked well, but not enough 277* @.15 moderately fast with 2.2,6" tall tires at 8v I'm getting 388* @.06
With a $50. Taiwanese servo !

I'm waiting on a Promodeler 420, but found this Servo and took a shot.... WOW !! I am running the soft HR sway bar up front, but not out back....

Yes I have insane flex , thanks to 5" shocks front and rear, with the AMF brackets to get things working

Ok...... I'm beefed up and need new power.... Holmes PP3500 or Roc412 3100......
Which way to go ?? I love my 4x4HD but it's too big.
I'm upgrading from a tekin17.5 gen 3
Because I need torque and wheelspeed faster than the two pole tekin

Looks sweet! Got my hands on a used Wraith yesterday which looks well used but pretty modded out. You're build is giving me some motivation for other ideas though keep it up!

WOW!!!!!
Unbelievable difference, just as smooth as the Tekin, but 5 times the torque!! New word .... Violent!
That is what this motor is, unbelievable power, thought about the 2700, I am totally happy with this one. I'm going to run it with the 12t and then swap in a 11t pinion. I'm thinking a bit slower, but still a monster.

I just picked up a wraith and looking for more flex for sure. I really do not want to do the belly up mod due to keeping the interior. That is why I love the wraith for the scale.

To get the same flex would o gain anything by using a set if bomber shocks? Or do I need to go longer?
