Mike - What size and model foams are you running in the Hyraxes? (looking great, BTW)

Crawler Innovations Double Deuces

I did remove the extra ring, just about perfect, my truck is front heavy, I don't think the firms would work out front.

Cool - near as I can tell, if the outer tuning ring is removed, those are 5.5"... Which I already have for the stock Bomber kit tires on Incision wheels. CI DD 1005.

Yep, the tires are 5.75, foams with ring 6" you end up at 5.5" which is about perfect IMHO

The new shoes look real nice....
The lowering kit and longer shocks somewhat cancel each other out regarding ride height (not speaking about travel).
About where are you at the bottom of the skid?

Skid at normal ride height is 3 1/4" rock rails at 4"
That's why I did this, lots of travel and articulation. Not really a droop setup

I get it. It's a very logical setup. That's why I asked the ride height question.
I was just trying to get a idea of what guys are running.
Addy's Spyder is about 2 1/8" with the stock shocks.
The rear shock hoop is flipped over, front is stock.
Lowered hers because she drove crazy and flipped it all the time.
Anyway.....
My rig is about 2.5"'; but I've done the the tummy tuck which is about 3/4" removed (so it would be 3.25", just like yours, if I hadn't modified it).
I'm not too far off, then. Thanks

Interesting.... I went with tall tires and long travel as it works in 1:1 .
My biggest issue was soft enough springs down low, without bottoming out the preload springs up front. The axial shocks out back work, but I need powerstrokes out back to be consistent , now I have to wait for the corners to equalize and drop in

Great day on the rip rap!
New shoes worked great, got going in places I just spun at before! Side hilling was sweet, foams were perfect, kept the edges square, kept on driving.
The bad news was the Holmes servo ate a pin or the gears at the end of the session.... had it in as the black blended better, but I have the PM v5 so will swap it in and start the warranty play with Holmes.

Couple more packs today, and the difference between servos is night and day, speed is perfect !

Just how much higher are the shock mounts on the droop kit vs. the original location? I'm thinking of going this route on one of my Wraiths and move the 92mm shocks from it over to my SCX10. Just wondering what length shock I'd need to be close to the same ride height. I'm looking at this Xtra Speed kit that looks like what you've got.

Thanks. If they're around an inch I'm thinking of getting aluminum SMT pull offs.

What is your total height from the ground to the top of the windshield? I am trying to figure out why mine is sitting so high. I am at 10 1/4" and have the same shocks you do and just trying to figure out what I did wrong

Your shocks are mounted to the trailing arms, mine are mounted to the axle, that's the difference. With a TA you will need shorter shocks

I was concentrating on the front end, I know the problem with the rear. The arms seem all jacked to me, is there some kind of drawing or something that shows how to install?
