SSD makes great stuff.... BUT the motor plate from Super Shafty is thicker and has 4 mounts not 3 as all others do. (my new strc plate is on my old trans) Last edited by mikemcE; 09-05-2017 at 04:53 PM.

Do you have an insert inside the top shock hole? That hole is huge compared to the 3mm hardware. Would be nice to get one of the rod end inserts in there so there is flexibility for movement. Let me know what you found for that please.

Been working on additions to OPIE all week, thanks to Tower and RPP we've got rock lights, headlights, light bar, winch....... all wired and working. Holmes came through with my BLE wired up and ready to install . The new SSD wheels are finally on OPIE and look bitchin ! Need some 3m duo lock to set the esc in for the last time. Wiring is neat and secured thanks to my new crimpers ! Hang up and Drive |

| "OPIE" You are correct, I was taking them for your perusal..... Enjoy ! Where I started SSD and Hyrax 2.2 with CI foams Rock and headlights by RC4WD . Dirt view (also shows winch line guide I made for the HeyOK servo winch) . Rear rock lights Up close and personal Proline light bar, HeyOK controller Made some shorter leads with the new crimper. Once I learned the "trick" this works so easy! Hang up and Drive Last edited by mikemcE; 08-25-2017 at 04:21 PM. |

I don't know. For my needs the Baja lights are perfect. The proline bar is quite bright for a 4" bar. I'm waiting on darkness for a real test and aiming session, still have to reinstall my BLE The proline bar is limited to 6v So it is switched off the rx/tx with a HeyOK. Controller. The other lights are pulling power from the bec at 8.4v I didn't have rx space so the wire is switched directly off the servo harness. These do pretty well. Look at the hood, the stickers will show with the light bar on. Both about equal, I may try the smaller lights on 6v as they are almost too bright. I can drive faster than I can see, but these are for crawling and I think they will be fine Hang up and Drive

Do you have individual switches for each set of lights? It looks like you can turn on just the rock lights, the light bar is separate then your head lights. Is this all controlled from your remote or manual switches?

My lightbar is switched thru my TX along with the winch. That occupied all my channels. So when I wired the headlights and rock lights , I used a slider switch , tapped off my bec both are together now, I can add a switch if I want. I used this switch after shortening the leads https://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDeta...ctCode=GEA1411 I used this for power from bec. Hang up and Drive Last edited by mikemcE; 08-26-2017 at 07:37 AM. |

I also added lights to ANDY, OPIES big bro. I chose a GearHead set 2" to fit up front. Did make a slight mod to clear the raptor body w/o cutting. Quite bright and runs with a HehOk controller. This would work great on a Wraith ! Hang up and Drive |

Do the Baja Lights come with mounting brackets? I did not see them in the pic of the package you received. They look plenty bright

Well what a fun couple of hours. Sun came out and dried things up enough to get to the rocks. OPIE enjoyed the new Hyrax's ! The grip on the edges was fantastic, but where they shined was the transition from sandy mud to hard rock , they just plain dig in and grabbed, not spinning and digging deep. The foams were perfect, Eddie comes thru again ! Hang up and Drive |
