Guten tag Franck ! Very nice build... A few questions though : why that change for the Fly instead of the T1E Ops ? Could the Ti links made for the Fly work on a Secret Agent and what kind of oil did you put in your shocks ? Danke, Emmanuel.

If you would like to run the Fly links at a Secret Agent you have to use Jeto rod ends on one side of the rear links.

I'm running 20WT all around with Losi MRC silver springs. Some Tamiya TamTech rear springs are ready for testing.

The SA and fly are both 60 40 chassis so wouldn't the lower links be close for either chassis? Maybe I missed something.

Skid lengths are probably different. 60/40 is an overall setup based off the rigs center point, link lengths will differ chassis to chassis based on the eye to eye distance between the front and rear lower link mounts.

Deceiving to the eyes, but this is a 60/40 setup as well:

Sorry for the Hijack Frank, the rig is looking awesome

Ya I thought about that later, I was under the impression there was some sort of standard for skid length, that makes sense now, thanks.

Hi frank,
Wondering if you could post some eye to eye measurements of your front and rear lowers, thanks. I will be making my own 3/16" 7075 links when I get my chassis. It should be shipping this week.

For shure, here you are:

Front lowers: 123mm
Front uppers: 120mm
Rear lowers: 143mm (front axle in the rear)
Rear uppers: 143mm (front axle in the rear)

You're welcome and i'm pretty sure you will like the Fly

Meanwhile (not on the ranch) i did some small things for my Fly. I made some lightweight hollow AL spacers with 8mm contact area (less "stress" on the CF):

To reduce the "stress" on the outside i use some Associated cone washers:

Here is the "secret" of my spacers:

Two AL "press in" nuts and a AL tube (6mm OD/5.1mm ID). I put a bit of a 2K glue (i know, coward ) on every AL insert and use a parallel vise to push them in.

I also made new straight rear uppers out of 1/8" Ti:

The rear VP link mount i flipped around (get a bit more pressure to the front):

Next one is not new, i just want to show that the Ti panels give a bit protection for the CF:

...more details will come soon

Greetings Frank
