Thanks John, yeh it's a kind of ostacle course. It's about 200 yards away from our house and i do the "basic" testing on it. I know it like my pocket so i can tell what setup works ans which one not. This one works well

Due to the Crawlerkeller Fly V1 realease i have to make a decision and it was an easy one. I put the axles under the new Fly with the CK Ti links.

...the bright white skid is made of Teflon (PTFE).

Side panels are made out of a 0.4mm Ti sheet. 6g per panel is a bit heavy, but they are super tough and add some extra stiffness and some "bling"

The RTR weight is now at 1732g, with 127g of KW it sits at 1605, that are 49g more then the OPS setup had. The solid links are "much" heavier then the tubers. But due to the shorter braces and 2mm CF the Fly is much more torsionally stiffer then the OPS is. Detailed pictures and vids will follow soon, so stay tuned...

I would like to share another little thing i did. This time it has nothing to do with the OPS itself, no i would like to give you a short view into my Sanwa (Airtronics) MT4 lever conversion. I like this radio a lot and especially the lever which gives me full proportional dig control. Two things makes using the lever a bit complicated (in my eyes). First is the fact that it has no auto neutral, so you have to do it. But when you inside a comp rush you won't find the "Zero" quick enough (maybe i'm to old ). Second is the lever position in the radio, it sits so high, that you have to spread your thumb and get a spasm after some times. To cut a long story short, i desolder the lever potentiometer and put a tiny 3D Joystick poti inside the grip and solder wired it to the lever pads.

So, are you using only the forward/back motion of the joystick? It looks like it does forward/back and left/right.

Yes, it's a 3D but i'm using only 2D.

I'm real curious to hear your thoughts of comparing the + and - of the ops to the ck fly. I've waited for everyone to come out with there new chassis, and these are my top two, so seeing that you have recently driven both I would like to know your thoughts!

That's a not easy to answer question. I need some more packs and then will post a lil comparsion.
