Got the bearings installed in the steering bell cranks today

Also installed some Exo universals since I was there.
Next I installed some red and amber LEDs in the rear lights bar

Also decided to swap in my hybrid(aluminum center/plastic tube) centered rear axle housing and rebuilt it with new bearings, our gear grease and some 43/13 underdrive HD Axial gears.

We really don't want to lock the front end as it's really gonna hinder turning radius. Hoping the 500k diff and the underdrive rear will allow "alright" traction in rocks and give us a little better turning radius.
Also started playing with rear shock fluid. The stock 30wt was letting the rear drop out super fast and not handle bump as well as I wanted with the added weight of a spare. Had some 60wt so we out it in and it works well with the spare but is to heavy without it. Grabbed some 45wt today to try next.
Trying to find that "happy medium" to give us good performance across the board no matter the terrain.

Default Messing with Sasquatch: CFM's Yeti

As stated before, we are releasing our Yeti product line every Friday and Monday until they are available to the public. They are not released in any particular order except for the final product.
First product is our aluminum front link kit.
It's all inclusive and preassembled. Replaces the tie rods and upper suspension links for both sides of the front end.
This kit is also being offered in stainless as well.
6mm hex design for scale looks. Proven Revo Rod Ends.

So then by the time these become available to the rest of us commoners, there should be a decent aftermarket offering? Sweet!

Told my wife this is on my Christmas list.

That's the plan. When the Yeti is available to the public you'll be able to have a whole mess of product ready to bolt on instantly. We are offering preorder on all the items as they are released, but everything will be delivered before the release date.

Stock oil weight in the rear is 10wt. Helps with the high speed stability, the 60wt you installed is a big jump, maybe try 30wt with the spare tire?

Wow! I knew it felt light, just figured it was 30. I'll do that before the 45wt then.
Is the front 10wt as well?

Front is 30wt. We messed with a lot of different setups in the rear, the lighter we went the better it performed.

However as soon as you run heavier setups upping the oil wt isn't a bad idea.

Man that rig looks great with a spare tire. That was going to be one of the first mods I do to my Yeti when I get it, good to know they've supplied the parts to mount it with the truck! No custom drilling or fabrication required - great forethought!

The Yeti hood is now available for preorder. This is our first design and I'm sure, as it is with the Wraith, the panel line will be always evolving.
