The 17t doesn't have quite the motivation to huck it on 3s so we swapped in a 4s lipo for some fun. I've never ran 4s before as there just hasn't been a need. I'm sold now. I was gonna step into a new motor but gonna just grab a few 4s lipos for now. Much cheaper.

| Re: Messing with Sasquatch: CFM's Yeti Yes. I think Harley has just swapped one in so we'll see what he thinks of it. The Tekin Gen2 17t Redline we are running is definitely not quick enough for me, stock motor is fast and spoiled me, but it crawls very well and hasn't let me down other than big air. Running it on 4s out a smile back on my face and with the 2speed option later, thistle maybe just fine by being able to hear a little higher since we'll then have a low range. Doesn't run to hot on stock hearing now. Do have a fan on the motor. The 550 can or Roc412 maybe better suited long term just for the added weight the cars take on with upgrades. |

Sway bar quick disconnect kits are now available on our site. Available in raw or anodized black. These function the same as a 1:1 kit does. The bolt that attaches the axle link end, is replaced with a machined stainless pin and clip. There is a machined 6061 upper mount that bolts into the factory chassis with included hardware. To disconnect sway bar: Pull clip from pin on each side Rotate sway bar up so links align with new upper mounts Insert pins through mount securing sway bar in its new position No tools required on the trail and nothing to remove and possibly lose. No interference during suspension cycle and you can still run a spare tire. This mod is for the guys wanting to lock the front diff and really focus on crawling or guys that like watching things get twisty or carry a tire through a high speed corner Baja style. And it's just cool! |

Can you take some pictures of the sway bar disconnect with the body removed? It's a little difficult to see where everything connects up. That's awesome though! Yet another item that I didn't realize I wanted for my truck, but now really do!

| Re: Messing with Sasquatch: CFM's Yeti In the photos provided the sway bar links are connected/tucked away in the CFM aluminum mounts. Otherwise the sway bar links would be connected at the axle.

I will get some pics of the mounts on without stock body. I'll do my best to get a pic if the sway bar connected flex, broke a universal this weekend and my helper tire it down yesterday. I'll get him to throw the stock stub in it so we can.

Quick damage report so far on the Yeti. We have been rough on this rig since it came out of the box. We have nearly a month of runnin the truck hard on rocks, sand, asphalt, mud, light water crossings, and big air jumps. So far the only parts that completely failed were a broke female spline WB8 HD shaft. Parts that wore out and needed replacement were the plastic bushings in the steering rack that are on the steering post. A quick bearing upgrade fixed this and VP has already released a post/bearing upgrade kit. Parts that have been damaged but could have "kept" going are the lower trailing arms and one of the upper links that got gouged. The rear trailing arms started to buckle after very hard launches on asphalt and more extreme Rock situations. The asphalt was also the demise of the drive shaft. We also broke a front universal during a big air jump that had a rough landing and tumbled badly. We were also running 4s at the time. |

Trailing arm issue has been solved and will be the only set of arms ever needed. The prototypes have proven themselves thus far and the final versions will be tig welded and left raw for sex appeal. They may be a limited run item due to the work involved in a fabricated trailing arm unless demand says otherwise. |
