Got the two-speed installed. I was a little annoyed because it kept jamming on the bench but it shifts just perfectly while running. I'm loving it.

Replaced an upper link, steering link and added a fan to the motor. Had a nasty fall and landed awkwardly which caused the breakage. This was on 3s. Can't wait to try 4s.

Here is the run. I ran out of battery and was unable to record the breakage.

I finally got around to getting the Pro-Line PowerStroke shocks.and installing them. The Slash 4x4 rear shocks were long for the front but I had a set of Losi xxx sct rear a arm shock mounts that with a little modification took care of the problem almost like they were made for the job.

Will you be swapping out the primary springs? As these shocks were intended for the much lighter slash, the weight of the yeti typically flattens these springs.

Probably but I want to run it first.

Installed the CI foams which makes a night and day difference. New foams make the tires very firm that they don't have that slightly deflated look. The performance also improved dramatically almost eliminating rolls. It's a quick, necessary, easy upgrade.

Gave my Trophy Truck a little different look.
Started like this.

The body had taken quite a beating, and pretty much wore the tires down to nothing. So I gave it a little make over.
Now it looks like this.

Proline Jeep body
Proline 1.9 wheels and tires with single stage foams
And of course, a couple light bars
Also threw on some Proline Powerstroke shocks

I had a jump session in front of my house just to see how my new suspension setup would react. Well, I'm pleased to say it was great. The suspension felt and looked plush. Using the 1/8 scale shocks minimised some of the chassis slap. I could see how it just soaked up the jumps. On higher jumps it would slap the ground but not as violently as before. Over all I'm happy this far. I'm still in the tuning phase, but so far so good.

Axial Yeti with 1/8 scale suspension setup. After trying out a few different setups. I believe to have found the sweet spot.

Suspension Setup:

Front- Losi 8ight front buggy shocks with Associated green soft springs and 20w oil.

Rear- Associated RC8T rear shocks with 10w oil and medium springs.

Soaks up rough terrain real good. Now it's time for a another jump session. Video, Coming Soon.

Note: with the Losi buggy shocks I gained 8mm of shock travel from my previous RC8.2e front buggy shocks. It's a noticeable difference.

https://youtu.be/qZmnr-yhmq4

Swapped front suspension from AE to Losi.

Slash receiver box installed. Just waiting on an extension for the 2 speed servo and lights and a mount for the antenna. Mamba Monster X and Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro XL also installed.

Put a pack through her at the construction site across the street. This was only my 3rd drive since I finished the build, been waiting for the nice weather, which seems to finally be arriving!

I don't know why everyone says these things break every time they go out. After many high speed flips, cartwheels, and tumbles, everything is still working great. Hosed her off, charged the battery, back to the shelf until tomorrow! On the down side, at this rate I'll never have a reason to buy any new shiny bits for her

that construction sight look like Yeti Heaven, nice build~!.

As for Yetis breaking.. whenever I go to a bmw track or a place with made jumps I tend to break something, like the roll cage or a body post from landing wrong and wheel bearings will break.

I took my yeti to a very open field and there was a metal pipe sticking up in the middle of it.. the ONLY thing to hit.. of course I end up trying to see how well I can do donuts around it like they do in those Hoonigan rally car videos and end up hitting it and breaking half the front bumper off. So basically most of the stuff I break its because of me.
