Rear- Associated RC8T rear shocks with 10w oil and medium springs.

Soaks up rough terrain real good. Now it's time for a another jump session. Video, Coming Soon.

Note: with the Losi buggy shocks I gained 8mm of shock travel from my previous RC8.2e front buggy shocks. It's a noticeable difference.

Swapped front suspension from AE to Losi.

RCWERKZ Im liking your setup and think Im gonna take the plunge and get those shocks. It looks like a simple replacement with no modifications to make them fit? Any changes to the suspension since your video or have you pretty much finished tuning it?

Does this look about right for the front shock:

And rear shock:

What did I do to my Yeti today? Landed on the roof, might need a new one. Time to make a new Baja bug

^^^ The roof rack looks good on the bug, but I'm thinking the body might flex a bit better without, and be less likely to break. Just a thought!

^^^OUCH!!! I did some parts research to get ready for a yeti rebirth into a bug. Hope I don't destroy my new body when I finally get it out. How big of a crash was this from?

Have swept my mind too. But the Proline body don't have that much flex in it comparing to other brands. I'll see what I do.

Not that high, but had good speed, a bit heavy yeti and temperature around 2 °C. There was some damage to the body from last winter that has weakened it and causing the extra damage. Have a new Baja body ready for cutting at my shop and thinking of another cage so I can run the original body when I'm out for some real bashing

I did two things..

First I ran over something at full speed in a field next to my house, since it was nearly dark and my trophy truck is kitted out with some lights it looked like a flying saucer spinning in the air.

Then I had probably my longest walk of shame ever.. I'm calling it an honest 400ft. or 350, it was out there lol

Installed new Losi front shocks. Havent tuned them yet but right off I have full extension. Front end always sagged some but now I have full height and it feels plush. Definitely a whole lot better.

Got myself some Proline Dual Stage 2.2 foams for my Yeti.

Left 1 hole open in the stock beadlocks. From super squishy to nice and firm.

Handles so much better!

Have some Proline Powerstrokes and supplies for the Yeti hinge pin mod coming next.

I glued my first tires ever following URCs old video instructions and it worked!
Here is my first bash video, check out the HobbyWing MAX10 SCT esc working with the stock vanguard motor, its a good combo feels smoother and more responsive than the stock castle plus it doesn't get hot. (the motor still can though).

The HW MAX10 SCT is awesome. I love mine. Cool, responsive and cheap.

I just started gluing the stock bead locks and tyres myself...I got sick of putting them back on the beads every third lipo.

Cool man, it took me at least 45minutes to glue all four tires gluing the underside of the bead and then the sides (following URC instructions here), so it was basically like gluing each one twice

So HW makes a matching brushless (and sensorless) motor in 3200kv that they say works well with the max10 and enables you to use the temperature limits in the esc/motor. They call it 3660 G2..
If I somehow break the stock Castle (vanguard) motor my plan is to replace it with that.

I thought I wanted to upgrade it make it faster, but as I soon found out when you get into any sort of real terrain going 40mph is fairly useless. So staying around the same KV rating keeps all my pinions and spur options relevant still. I've got 16,17,19,and a 20 tooth pinion now lol.

I swapped in a 23T pinion with 60T spur. Cracked all my kit wheels. Then broke and lost front right axle. Then the stock yeti rear driveshaft disassembled itself. Also had this nice ratchet sound. Rear diff ground some teeth into a different shape. I had an oillite bushing back there that one of my shims bored itself into. Also bent both rear axle shafts. I need to get new foams, wheels, and front shafts.

Holy mother of god.

Kit. I just wanted to see what it was like. Too fast with the stock foams. I learnt how to handle it eventually. I have a set of CREEPERBOB's titanium axles for the rear and a MIP driveshaft for the rear. I ordered DLUX's front axles for the front. I wanted to order new front and rear diff housings that have been bored for a bigger bearing but they were out of stock. I need to order those foams everyone's talking about and some new wheels. Motor is a HH 3500XL on 3S, the car covered 300 feet pretty quick, I turned the steering down to 60% of travel otherwise it would just flip like crazy.

Added new Losi rear shocks. Heres how it measures up to the stock shock on the right.

And here it is mounted.

Added some RC4WD Interco IROK 2.2 Superswampers with CI Deuce tall foams. Side by side comparison with stock tires.
