Ruger 10/22 Walnut/Maple stock laminated and carved by yours truly. Stripped and polished receiver, 16" bull barrel, trigger and bolt work, Mueller Eradicator scope. Too much time and $$ and not enough common sense but worth it to me.

Nice work! From the looks of it you don't have to do the cheap tract houses anymore either.

I know where your coming from. I do allot of work in and around Seaside Fl. Lots of people that like to show off and architects that design some pretty cool stuff. I get to do some nice projects but wouldn't live there for anything.

I do some woodworking. Well, anymore all I do is turning and not that often. I've sold off most of my flat work tools.
Here are a few turned items.
Box Elder Burl set, the larger one is about 12" diameter and 9-10" tall (IIRC, I sold this set a few year ago)

This is the same wood about 14" diameter.

This one is Spalted Aspen about 15" diameter.

Here are a few Birdhouse Christmas Ornaments. These are what I turn mostly these days. I sell most of them and give some as gifts and of course keep at least one for our family every year.

Some nice woodworking skills here!

I used to do more woodworking than I do now.

My first ever project. Made from some western cherry. I cut down the tree, had it milled and dried it in a solar kiln that I built from plans I found online.

The start of my TV cabinet.

Black walnut (I bought) and Madrone (that I had milled).

All mortise and tenon joinery...gluing it up.

Mostly finished up. Designed for a 50" plasma.

Another project I did for my wife. An asian inspired craft table. All Madrone from a tree I cut down.

I like Madrone so much and had a huge amount from some trees I logged, I decided to do hardwood floors in my living room and hallway.

I'm kind of a wood whore....

So here are some pictures of the floor...

My wife and I also took a stained glass class and we made this. Body is Madrone, top and bottom cones are soldered copper, and the rest is steel (looks like I need to clean off the cobwebs ).

I've also made some things like this. Picture hanger for my kids. My wife finds interesting things on pinterest and in catalogs and has me make them.

I've done a bunch of other stuff but can't find pictures of them.

I work at a large high end cabinet shop. Here are some of the things I have built.
this is a video of some servo drives we did in a 100grand kitchen. This was only three of 15 wall cabinets that we did.

Homestead Cabinets Servo Drive - YouTube

Here is a mantle I did they then painted it on site. I did a total of 5 mantles for this house all had an insane amount of molding on them.

Same house but some large radius-ed raised end panel door ways there was two of these large door ways.

Thanks! I like working with local native northwest woods. I have black walnut, madrone, apple, spalted maple, cherry, myrtle and some really nice quarter sawn white oak. I have no idea what I'm going to do with most of it, but it's not like it goes bad.

I'm curious your method for curved casing and curved panels? We actually do a glue up with the moulding ripped to thin strips and bent around a radius and clamped to dry.

Only a friend would draw attention to something like that. I know mine would.
