| Wood Working
Felt like putting my new nail gun to use so I picked up a bundle of 2x4's and made a stool. Pretty simple/basic and rough. Waiting for the Early English colored stain to finish drying and Ill update. I plan on making a beefy bench next, out of either 2x6's or 2x8's. Anybody else that does work with the wood feel free to post up... |

Scroll saw, belt sander, dremel, hand files, and a drill press. The lower is layers of 1/4 and 1/8 plywood, the upper is built around a piece of 3/4" PVC for the barrel. Grips are shaped out of basswood. It opens too. The locking system is a cut down wood screw, nail, and spring from a ballpoint pen. |

First coat of stain. Was trying to dial in my new spray gun and it was done outside (*50) so its heavy in spots. Ill either spray a second coat or just touch it up with a brush. |

Warms up a little I will get the boy involved and make up the shells for it. I ran out of time before Christmas. Never really got into whittling. Always wanted to try wood turning. Economy picks up I may look at getting me a lathe... | |

My boy loves the movie, thats why I made him the Samaritan. Working on a way to make him the "Right hand of doom" at the rate he is growing will have to wait till closer to the fall to make it though.
