Nice! That's a pretty big area, I used to do that kind of stuff a few years ago. I miss working with wood but now I get to do it as a hobby instead of a job and I do like that. I was starting to get into building custom mantles before I switched jobs, can't wait till I buy a house of my own to start fixing up. Would love to see more of your jobs.

I guess this would count as wood working? A few slingshots I've made.

What are those made out of and what do you use to make them? Cool stuff.

It's called spectraply, is a high quality plywood normally used for making gun stocks, duck calls ect. I cut the slingshot out on a scroll saw, go over to my drill press with a drum sander to refine the shape, go to my router with a 1/4" round over bit, if I need finger grooves, back to the drum sander to make those, then sand them to 500 grit, 2 coats of helmsman spar urethane, when that's dry I coat them in paste wax, then buff them out.

Not hobby but work at my job that Im proud of. I finished this up this past week. Work was for a private school.

Moved the divider wall between the closet and bathroom over about a foot. Rebuilt subfloor. Reframed doors and part of front wall. All new trim, base/shoe, 2 piece casing for the doors, new shelves for the closet and hung the rock. Installed custom prehung doors.

Good gravy that is stunning. I have always wanted to learn woodworking. I wish I had this kind of skill, I would love to make myself a bow.

Just my opinion, but I think the brackets make them too busy.
