Well here is my broken part. I don't even know what the name of it is lol

I'm not sure if this piece is actually broke but its cracked. Might be a spacer of some sort.

Then there is this piece that is DEFINATELY broke

I got an email about the replacement chassis's being available in a few weeks as well, no mention of cost, just that the parts to fix mine will be on their way soon. Email was dated 9/7.

my rig

I finally had my first real problem today. I was out hittin some hills and rock's and switchin from low to high it seems like it got caught somewhere in the middle.......it would take off like it was in high then catch itself and start crawlin'. When im in high and tryin to go through normal grass now i can hear the belts startin to squeal. Anyone know what might be wrong, or where to start? and where could i get replacement parts??

Thanks.

Got 2. A scorpion and jeep. The jeep was halfway through it's first battery pack when it quit wanting to steer. It would steer 1/4 of the way to the left and then only back straight when turned to the right.

The scorpion went through its first batt pack then on its second charge the rear axle pops real bad only going forward, in reverse no matter what the incline it doesn't pop. I tightened the botls on the reduction unit too.

I have 2 new ones on the way right now after i got off the phone with nylint.

it sounds like you have a broken pin.

Just went ahead and went to wally world and exchanged mine for a new one. Now I got to rig up some steering limiters since I hear this is a common problem with these jeeps. I saw a pic of the way one person did them anyone else got any pics of any good limiters or other good mods?

I took it in without the receipt and they exchanged it for a new one then I broke it the next day after the intial 18 hour charge.

The same piece broke so I guess I will have to call this time for a replacement from the company.

Found out the rear axle pop was the driven gear on the axle shaft itself was stripped because it was not properly aligned with the output gear in lowrange on the reduction unit.

found out what the problem was.

this piece with the crosspin and axle is what's causing the binding. the plastic is starting to wear. allowing the pin to get caught and lock the front axle.

i've had my jeep for about 3 days and now the rear axle is i think binding up or somthing. when i try to climb somthing it binds up and won't spin thou the front keeps going. when i opened the rear i noticed the low range gear wasn't lined up with the output gear. does anybody know how i can fix this or if nylint will send me a replacement axle or somthing to fix it?

I sent them my power lead a week and a half ago and have e-mailed for an ETA with no response. The promise of stellar customer service seems to be losing its twinkle.
