Best check your charger will work with that battery long enough for the three of you. My charger has some sort of LVC on the input. It doesn't put up with 11ish volts.

With how this plan is developing I may bump battery size up, but that one is 35ah so I feel pretty confident it will handle that charging duty without any problems.

Uh, why isn't it going to have a powered drivetrain....I mean, sure would be easier to move along. Holmes probably could adapt one of his ebike setups to work...big ass servo for steering and DRIVE it into comps.

You need to figure out how much capacity you'll use up in a day, then buy a battery twice that size to actually achieve that amount of usage.

Suggestion:
My experiance with those is they tend to get unstable with whaite, and hard to move. The lack of bearings in the wheels and the wheele base is to narrow.

These do have bearings in the wheels but could use width. All the weight will be low but it could still use some width. None of that is much of a concern though since width is a super simple fix if we did want to.

Good, I didnt know that HF would put bearings in.
The ones we have at work are junk and every time the field service guys come back There is something that has to be maintained on them.

It wouldn't hurt to throw a 10$ digital battery meter somewhere. A fully charged 12 lead acid battery should be above 11.8 long enough to charge a pack or two if its a 5-10Ah. A car battery (650Ah Honda size) would leave a small footprint but run your mini-fridge, charger(s), tvs, car alarm system(everyone has to poop eventually, might as well have a lockup and alarm) and still be able to power a small 3-600w inverter. Hell you can bring jumper cables and charge people to jump their 1:1 batteries, too!

Regular automotive batteries don't like to be deep cycled. A few times being run down to nearly dead will kill it.

how are you going to keep the weight down on this your drawings look like it will be pretty heavy when fully loaded.. those carts suck on pretty much anything but smooth paved surface's with just a light load on them..

I would definitely consider some power assisted axles.

Snag the motor off an old 110cc pit bike and throw a lawn chair up there somewhere.

I will have to double check but I'm 90% sure they were bearings.

The battery I listed is a deep cycle. That's a requirement.

Not much will be above 14 tall other then a few trucks if we have to haul that many. I will consider widening if needed, power assisted is a no though.

I say screw the cart and just build a 1/4 scale Dakar support truck. Do you reaaaaally want to pull a cart around instead of drive it?

The metal work is planned to be aluminum. It definitely won't be something you can just throw around but shouldn't be terrible to pull.
