After getting over the sticker shock and thinkin about it, the price isn't bad for all that you're getting! Just a big lump to start but doesn't look to need anything else! Nothing to really upgrade so money saved! I'd like to see a compairasion of all three of the new kits. to see how they are different form each other. Or if they aren't so different.

I was just thinking the same. and about the only reason the enduro kit can't be even with these, not a scale looking transmission and doesnt have the high clearence frame rails. Other than those 2 reasons, the enduro seems a GREAT value! But if you have the means, this vs410 pro is a no brainer. Then the SSD trail king falls somewhere between the two both in features and price. Still not an easy choice any way you slice it! ** would it be sacrilage to put a vs410 frame kit on the SSD chassis? Lol best of both worlds!!! Last edited by Shinchu; 06-08-2019 at 04:13 PM. |

Enduro is higher clearance than the scx10 rails the SSD is using.

That's why you would put vs410 rails on the SSD ;)

The VS4-10 Pro and the Trail King are sweet, but I’m getting the Enduro Kit.

I'm pretty sold on this - though I do wish it had the D44s over the F9s. Is there an advantage to the F9s that I'm missing? I always thought they looked a lot less scale than a typical pumpkin and sacrifices some cool factor. I could get over it tho - but damn did I build a Raw Builder's Kit at the wrong time (like, last month before any of this).

| Re: Whats up their sleeve ? VP You don't know this yet unless you've owned one and tested it for months. None of these trucks are worth the money until they prove it. Fanboyism has turned into a pure hype machine. The Pro kit looks great and they fixed my major complaint - the transmission. This has to be a super capable rig and I may pick one up come winter if I get can out of my RC rut. |

All 3 new releases are the best for their price point imo.

As I see it so far it's an improved SCX10 as long as gears hold up. Especially the kit. I wouldn't include the TRX-4 due to portals. Not everyone wants a truck with portals.

| Re: Whats up their sleeve ? VP In your opinion, yes. Some people are infatuated with portals and won't run a rig without them.

If the Enduro proves itself to be capable and reliable we can call it a good value. I'd call it unproven at this point. Portals have advantages and disadvantages so I'm not sure why you'd automatically discount the TRX-4. Either way the Enduro will have to compete with the TRX-4 for sales.

Only if it breaks too easily. The durability is what's unproven.
