On the flip side, this new VS4-10 Pro is the most balanced and predictable rig I have in my stable. I will always be looking for ways to improve it, but mostly excited to just get it out and drive. I haven't been this happy with a setup in a long time and it comes out of the box this way
Do you guys have more info ready on the VS410 pro? Other than the video we're all squinting for details at, there's nothing out there.

See?! Yes offer the body for 40 and a GURANDAMNTEE it will sell hotter than it is now! Builders want to peice stuff together piece by piece and make something original/unique. Or replace a damaged body.
The demand is there!

Well yea, it's getting better because you're tweaking with geometry.

Personally I'd like to see a c channel chassis with an angled skid coupled with a rear link riser at the axle. That'd be a class 1 killing machine.

Class one needs to have a flat skid with the new rules.

I swear to cthulhu those ass clowns at sorcca will not stop until they have removed every bit of capability from all classes they can.

WE DEMAND SCALE REALNESS!!! Cartoon characters and zombies "driving" rigs are the norm...

Doesn't seem like I had to wait long for that answer. All speculation on my point with the announcement of the "Pro". An Origin with a VFD...that excites me. The only major flaw I see in the origin is the outdated transmission so now you have my attention with the VFD transmission. Interesting naming BTW since most people know VFD = Variable Frequency Drive.

I'll never understand organizations like ROAR, SORRCA, etc that set odd standards that stall the evolution of the hobby.

Not yet. Josh will be at KNK tomorrow and might have one on display. Im sure more photos and info will be revealed before we post an official product page.

I get it. On the flip side you would be surprised how many people prefer to pay a little extra to have everything included and not have to scour the internet to find all the items required or take the risk of trimming a body and messing it up. RCC is home to a different market then the general customer.

Sorry... Don't think I could ever bring myself to do an angled skid chassis. I like to keep it scale. The high clearance rails were already a sacrifice for me. Now that they are done I've grown to appreciate the added clearance and performance.

.
Naming is always a challenge. We all really liked Vanquish Forward Design and VFD isnt something that has been used in the RC industry.

No need to apologize to me, I wouldn't buy anything for class 1 anyway.

One of these days the scale side will finally realize that capability is fun and stop using scale points as a crutch. It's like entering a marathon wearing hiking boots and insisting everyone else wears hiking boots to make it fair. Someone shows up wearing skechers and is called a cheater.

Rigs that are too capable are boring. What's the fun if you can climb everything without a challenge?

I never understood the angled skid. It may be great in some situations, but it has to hurt in others.

If things get boring I move on to other areas. Why not make a rig as capable as you can reasonably build? If I wanted everything to be a struggle I'd build a 1:24 and never have to leave the parking lot.

All my gaylers are less capable than el pinko by a lot. I figure if I can get half the capability out of a rig that looks like something and follows a rule set then I'll be happy enough to continue the builds.

I wonder if this would work with an SOA build. Looks like you can use some angled sheets and make some front mounts for anything. Will these be available outside the pro kit from the start?

You will need an offset axle which doesn't have 2 upper link mounts and your links would hit anyways.
