Ya, that Dragon Jeep was going for $200, the Hasbro jeeps weren't bad, $30 - $60 for a 2002 is about right, $20 for the Earlier Hasbro's is about right, I picked up mine from a garage sale with the trailer for $5. That original early, with the original box and all the accessories for $750, the guy is dreaming. Last edited by Mike Flea; 07-28-2015 at 08:06 PM. |

I see which ones you saw, your right, not to bad. One I saw I would buy right now if I needed one asap. $50. + shipping. I did see a few for well over $250. That's insane. |

Both fans are installed, still need to wire them up. Here are some pic's. Still need to replace the inner pinion bearing in the front axle. But getting closer to paint. |

Thanks Mike, I tried 3 of the smallest fans I could get and chose these. There 12v & move a lot of air for there size , 1.25" X 1.25" X 7/16" thick. They were $5.00 each at a local electronic supply store. I can't wait to get them wired up and see how they will work. Last edited by stelerzman; 08-01-2015 at 09:40 PM. |

Looks good and goes with the vintage look. With the fan and open grill you should be a lot cooler. Are you going to put in a bearing or bushing in the axle? |

A bearing for now. Just until I find a bushing and to keep her running.

I pulled the diff. cover to change out the bearing on the pinion and this is what I found. It's all could find from the old bearing. Epic failure. |

It sucks that you had a major failure like that, but on the bright side, it looks very realistic! |

Wholly BigSki's avatar. You need bushings in there. Yes you can get a thrust bearing etc but a bushing is just as strong and only $.85.

I.m running the Traxxas bushings in my new axles. They feel a lot more positive than the bearings. Hopefully it didn't destroy the gears. Last edited by Nomadpsd; 08-02-2015 at 06:50 PM. |

I don't see how a bushing could hurt the gears, there much more stable and solid.

What I meant was, I hope your bearing failure didn't destroy your gears.

Progress update: Fans are wired up and work very well. I shot some video of them working as I vape and exhale into the grill and over the luvers. WOW, I'm impressed and excited to run her to see the drop in temps. Ill get the video up tomorrow, it's gettin' late for me. |

Sounds like it works well and should take care of your temps. Looking forward to the run video.
