Thanks guy's, I'm very happy so far. To be a bit more clear, Youtube is not the issue, it's my computer and the editing software that's causing me problems. Then comes the motor problems. The current motor was build for an MOA comp crawler at 5 lbs. So each motor only needs to drive 1/2 the weight. I have placed an order from BROOD, it is a custom built super torque motor for these heavy rigs. Hope to have it by next weekend so I can get more wheel time in and more videos. |

You guy's state what I thought when it happened. Every time I watch the video I start laughing, uncontrollably Did anyone catch the "call 911" spoken on the first crash? He had to take the roll cage off because it's just WAY too heavy. It's solid rod, he's working on a new one. I'm guessing it weighs over 1.5 lbs. |

Power update: EddieO @http://www.teambrood.com/store/product.php?productid=17562&cat=261&page=1 Came through, as always. I received a beast of a motor. Mega torque, custom built Apocalypse. I just got it today and it's freakin' Gorgeous, sexy and powerful. I can't wait to bolt it up and hammer down. Also, I made a sand blaster to clean the roll cage I'm in the process of remaking. I'm going off the old design, but with 1/4" brake line. |

35t. This should help keep temps down due to being a Full can and 2 pcs. magnets. Drag brake from the BRXL should be very impessive. Only time will tell. I'll keep everyone posted on this motor. |

Motor is in and fits snug. Hopefully I'll get to run this Sunday. Weather permitting, it's been raining a lot lately and nothing is water proofed.

Looking forward to hearing about the motor. I only have the stock 20T that came with the Wraith Spawn in my build. Researching on what motor choice would be best for a 12+ lb vehicle. Confused on turns at the moment. Lower turn has more torque similar to lower kV or the opposite for brushed motors. I would like to run a BL sensored to avoid cogging but from reading a little bit a good brushed motor/ESC shouldn't cog. ?? Still researching that topic. |

Sunday went GREAT. Was getting along very well after I changed the spur to a 56. 9t pinion is still working well. I did get some decent video. Still working on combining them.

This should get you heading in the right direction. Brushed motors- higher the turn #, the more torque the motor will have. Brushless motors- lower turn #, the more torque the motor will have On the B/L motor topic. Lower kv = more torque and smoother start up in sensored mode. In sensorless mode you will get some cogging opon start up, but once you get a smooth rythom going, you should be fine. Most brushed motor will not cog if you have a quaily esc and a smooth drive train with zero binding anywhere. on the rig. | |

Still working on the videos. Another failure on the trail. About 2.5 hours in, I lost front wheel drive, because the front inside pinion bearing self distructed. Last edited by stelerzman; 07-22-2015 at 04:00 PM. |

Oh, I forgot to mention the motor did great. 140° at the end of a long run . I'll be going up to a 58t spur and add two 12v mini fans to the grill to keep the air flowing. I'll get them installed when I crack open the front axle to replace the bearings.

Thanks Mike. Me too. The easy way would be to join them all together, but there will be a lot of dead screen, if you know what I mean.

Well that sucks on the bearing. Are you going to use a o-lite bushing instead? Motor temps sounds perfect. The fans will make it that much better. Was that mostly slow crawling, lot's of wheel speed or ?? My video editing is very basic and pretty pathetic but the first 10 or so videos trying to combine, edit and make them at least presentable was not fun at all. A couple of basic editing videos i found on YT helped a ton. |

Mostly slow crawl, but to keep up with the rest of the group I had to give it some throttle. I managed to finish editing the video and now working on uploading it to YouTube. |
