Default Szczerba's Tow Rig

I built up this CXT but who wants to carry around 15lbs?
Szczerba's 2.2 CXT

48" of 1" square tube ripped on the ol' drill press with a 3" cutoff wheel.

Figured I would start the chassis build tonight. Took about an hour and 6 cut off wheels to rip that joker.

Lol. 4-wheeler, you crazy. Think more like 8 wheeler.

60% of parts have been ordered. Waiting on the mail lady to bring me various amounts of metal, plastic and rubber.

Wraith axle up front, 3 widened AX10 rear drive axles.

Google image "m1070" to see some inspiration.

Kinda close to size.

Tires are 5.2" in this picture and two vertical lines represent 18", which is the length of a unmodded CXT cab. Shout out to mmattews for the image 1:1 sizing.

Printed another one out for a coworkers 4 year old grandson to color on as well.

There you go, man I can't wait to see this one....... Its gonna be off the hook.

Side note what program are you using to blow up the prints? I need the one for my build in 1:10 scale but can't get one sized correctly.

I used auto cad. I scaled up to 1:1 then you can make it any scale from there. At 1/10 this thing is huge.

what mmattews said. Michael resized them for me and I printed them out on the plotter at work. Worked out good.

Looks like the truck will be about 36" total length. I have not decided if I am going to leave the new CXT cab original width, cut it down or extend it out.

The parts will start trickling in today but the bulk of the parts purchase has yet to be initiated. Waiting on some parts to come into stock.
