| losi mini rock crawler is probly the best bet its got a toyota body with bobbed front and rear fenders with color choice of bright green, deep red, navy blue, or jet black all with camo graphics not hard to pull off if u want has good shocks there is a hitech metal geared servo that you will want but other than that its pretty much the good starter car for this type of sport. RIP 8-14-10 california 200 prayers to all

Hey im Zach. I have an axial scorpion i have put an integy 55 turn in and added softer shocks. I also have a traxxas speed control and an hpi radio. I run a venum 1800 battery and i have added about a pound to my car splitting it evenly between the front and rear axles. I have placed a hitec super servo from a 1/5 scale crawler up front and it makes my steering unstopable. On top i have a 1974 chevy K-5 blazer body fitted with leds and i used a real bed liner to do the bed and finder flairs. Please e-mail me if you want pics cause i cant figure out how to post em. I was also wondering if there were any competitions here in Las Cruces NM. thanks again, Zach.

I have a Venom Creeper kit sitting in my backpack, taunting me from across the room. Can't wait to get home and put it together to see what it will do. I have been haunting your site for a while now to make sure when I put it together, I do it right and I have learned a lot from you guys. Hopefully, I'll contribute something someday, too. Probably not though. |

| Hello and thanks for the many tips and insight
Hello all, I'm new to the hobby and after reading through many different threads here I decided to start a Berg. The parts: NewAge CRL-101 CNC Machined 2.2 Class Rock Crawler Kit Tekin FXR T55 ESC/Motor Rock Crawling Combo Tekin T55 Rock Crawler Brushed Motor Hitec HS-7955TG Ultra Torque Titanium Gear Digital Servo Team Losi High Output 5A Lipo Regulator w/Switch Hot Bodies Rover Rock Crawler Tire (White) Pro-Line Volkswagen Baja Bug Body (1/10th Rock Crawler) Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz 4-Channel Radio System w/Traxxas Link (5-CH RX) Punk RC Dig Switch It went together over the course of three evenings and I've been getting the feel for it on any rock piles I can find around the neighborhood. I'm still waiting on the PunkRC Dig, which I am sure will help reduce the number of roll overs I'm seeing since most of them are the result of the rear tires driving out from underneath the front. It is definitely running taller than I want it to be and will probably swap in a set softer springs. In addition I will wrap the motors in some vinyl tube to protect the bell, and look to add a battery tray/extended skid for the belly. I'm not looking to compete with it; just want a solid crawler that defies gravity to muck around with on the days that I can't get my 1:1 scale trail rig out and about. |

Hello, I'm from ohio. Obtained my first crawler over a year ago. Got rid of it to seek greener, better crawling pastures. However, was unable to do so untill a couple months ago. WHich is when i picked up a losi night crawler, and i love it. I have done a little modding, Upgraded to a better servo, changed the beadlocks, weighted fronts, ect ect. I enjoy it so much, it has me looking to upgrade to a LCC soon! My other truck is a brushless E-Revo. |

| Just another newbie Well guys and gals. I am a newbie here as well. I am the proud owner of a....you guessed it an Axial AX10 Scorpion RTR. I have upgraded all the links to 6mm aluminum with 30* bent rears. I have relocated the on/off switch cause axial places it in a hard to reach spot when the body is on. I have sieped the stock tires and it hooks up a little better now Going for more mods in the future but I will run it like this for now. |

Hi all, I am new to crawling and only picked up the Maisto one, to see if I would like it. I do very much and am looking for a "real" crawler. Expect me to ask lots of questions. I am pretty new to all things RC, and started with helicopters. I live in Chicago, IL. |
