Your really going to start finding your weak areas when you ad that weight! I have a feeling you will start breaking the molded c on the tubes.

Yeah, luckily I know how to make delrin axle tubes with aluminum c hubs.

But that increases my dilemma, if I do delrin tubes I want to do bully knuckles and shafts, but I'm running berg lockers so the tang would have to be ground down. I ground down the tang on the mt shafts and they've held up fine, idk if the bully tangs would hold up or not though.

I run Berg cases with delrin tubes, bully knuckles, and bully shafts with the tangs modified. They have held up to 8 comps so far. I run HHK brood motors on 3S. With 8" rovers. And 5oz of knuckle weight. ( I cut down my tangs with an angle grinder, not very precise but it was good enough. I plan to replace the shafts before our next season starts with more bully shafts. But this time I will have someone mill them down to fit precisely)

Your crawler is looking good. Are you going to come out and compete with us (WARCRC) on June 1st @ Steamboat Rock State Park?

Yeah, I just used a grinder on the mt shafts.

I have a big list before I'm really comp ready but I might come out anyways.
My list.
1. New motors
2. New shafts/ tubes
3. Rear steer
4. Different transmitter
5. New chassis
6. Lighter upper links/ stronger lower links
7. Dual escs
8. Knuckle weight
9. Comp batteries
10. Mini t springs/ maybe big bores

Was screwing around in my front yard and broke another rear plastic knuckle on the same rock as last time. So I decided to see if my spare stock berg knuckles would work and they do. They use the same bearings and everything, so that's cool.
Broken knuckle

Berg knuckle

Well my esc fried, don't have the fund to replace it now so this thread will be at a stand still for awhile. So I'm taking donations for a brsl/brxl.

Yep, that "C" is the same as an AX10. Thats why a Bully or Berg style knuckle fits.

Yeah, I was just surprised the bearings were the same. Are the bully bearing the same?

Bumping this. It's still sitting with a burnt out esc, so does anyone have a brxl or brsl for sale?

Hey guys, been a crazy year. Moved over to Seattle and have been getting everything situated. Hopefully getting this back running again, I don't have a shop like I used to so there won't be much custom stuff for now, and I basically have to relearn everything about rc crawlers again.

Just planning on getting this working again. So I need some info guys, I'm looking at holmes hobby and I seem to have lost all my rc knowledge. Thinking of getting a mini brxl and a couple crawlmaster sport 13t motors, just 1 esc for now. Will the mini be fine or should I go with the standard brxl?

Those motors might not be a good choice for a super, something around a 45T will be a much better choice.

Brxl came in today, I forgot how fun crawling is. Definitely ordering motors soon, probably just some cheap rc4wd motors for now.

Well, finally busted the molded C on my front axle. It took a lot of abuse and it's the first I've ever broken. Going to through in another, but if make a habit of breaking these I'll look into other options.

You up for making some custom tubes Dlux?

Man i want to do stuff with my madtorque. Im just getting mine running again. I should really learn how to cut and shut tires but im probably just gonna get 40 series tires like maybe mudslingers. I liked the build though! Man i miss crawling. My wraith is slowly getting there. Im getting new motors too. Would axial 55t ones work with 27t pinions good?
