I got to see this thing run first hand at the Utah State Champs. Awesome performer. I was 100% sold on the MOA kit but after seeing how killer this rig can be as a shafty... may reconsider. Great driving man!!

I'll have some pics and a write-up ready soon, but that event was awesome. Just that one course (and some killer driving from Naz-t) kept me from taking home my 3rd straight title. | |

| 801RCC Utah state champs
As always, the Utah State Championships was an epic battle on the red rocks of St. George. After taking the state title back to California the last two years, I had a big target on my back. Some of the best drivers in the world weren't too happy with me taking their state title, and they were determined to take it back I tested out my custom set of "Boss Claws" on the red rock and they were hooking up awesome on Friday before the comp. I ran the first course with them and felt great, but I think the combination of colder temps and stiffer foams held me back a little. I took a score of 36 on the first course and really had my work cut out for me for the rest of the day. I think the Boss Claws are going to be insane on red rock, but as with any tire, foams are critical. I switched back to my well-worn set of comp claws with standard foams and went to work on the rest of the courses. I pulled off low scores for the day on two out of the four remaining courses, but it just wasn't quite enough to overcome some great driving by 801's own Naz-T Mike. In the end, the State title was returned to Utah, but only for now I'll be back next year and more determined then ever. 801RCC puts on some of the best comps in the country, and I can't wait to compete on the red rocks again. -Jake thanks again to Utah's own Bryson Deppe (Atekt) for some killer action shots! What tires are you using to make your boss claws?

Hello Jack I wanted to ask you something about the battery losb9867, you know are 2s but my Losi charger read only as 1s and I can not get them to work individually on my lcc. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

| hmm, how do you have them plugged in? Are you trying to charge them individually or as a saddle pack?

I use the charger Losi losb9606 and if the load as saddle pack sees two cells. The problem is that if you install them on a single battery Losi lcc can not get it to work, probably something wrong but I can not understand.

Could be a bad cell in the pack, but its hard to say. Shoot Rich an e-mail at rtrujillo@horizonhobby.com and see what he say about it.

With the shock off the rig, I fill them up to the bottom of the threads that are inside the shock, then bleed the excess oil and air. If you seal up the shock without bleeding off the excess, the shock will want to rebound on its own and make the rig handle funky. Here's a really good tutorial on shock rebuilding. The second shock built in the video is off of a Losi XXX-CR buggy, but the process is exactly the same for our crawler shocks. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Articles...ArticleID=1930 -Jake |

Also, I rebuild my shocks about every 2-3 weeks to keep everything consistent. Running a rig just about every day is rough on parts |
