anyone else run thier tires with no foams?

I've read all posts here and I still don't understand why this is still being discussed.
We drove together with a no-foam guy with an Ascender recently. His rig rolled over on absolutely all kinds of obstacles. All the time. In all directions. It couldn't climb without rolling backwards. It definitely couldn't sidehill. And it couldn't descend while turning the slightest.
I'd say try it if you must. But what's the point, really? At least have tow straps and a winch ready!

I just run no tires, rims on rocks only saves allot of $ and scale aproved really

Its all rig an tire dependent at the end of the day.
I’ve got a 2.2 trail rig with star cut foams, vented. Custom rig with badlands and lexan body. Rig is fairly light. Works perfectly.

Then a buggy with no foams and sealed beadlocks. Buggy weighs nothing. Tires are hard. Works better.

Then a scale rig with soft tires and foams. Sealed beadlocks. Rig is heavy. Works the way it should for me.

Mess about with what you’ve got till you find something that works and does the job nicely.
