Every time I try to count up all my current sets I keep forgetting some...

Adding to that the multiple sets of touring car wheels and tires I picked up recently for my M-08 and 4-tec, it's just plain crazy.

Funny thing is I have zero Pro-Lines for crawlers - only a set of Badlands for my Associated Nomad DB8 1/8th buggy and a set of VTA pre-mounts with wide rears for the 4-tec.

Nothing really against them, just haven't got around to picking any up!

I prefer scale accurate treads, so I won't get Hyrax - and I still have some old Vaterra TSLs, so there's not much of real interest.

They're still at it!

Multiple carbon face designs recently released (5 and 6-lug), along with Delrin lightweight center rings, brass heavyweight center rings, 5-lug (as well as the existing 6-lug) hubs in multiple offsets, multiple designs of scale center lug covers, lead weights, and the biggie release - extra wide wheels in a whopping 41.35mm (1.628") width!

They can be built in 4 different offsets as shown below:

Any idea if these will clear Axial portals with max backspace?

I’ve been poking around on their site, looks like they have a 45mm I.D., which matches the HPI 26mm and 0mm offset VTA Stock Car wheels I have on the MF-01x Jimny I recently put Tamiya’s portal hubs from a GF-01TR for the time being. If you have any HPI sedan wheels or something similar laying around, you could gauge it that way or if you have calipers and measure from the center of the axle to the top of the portal

Think I may have to look at these for that Jimny project and if I get one of the Dynahead kits!

Based on the wheel design and their comment in the affirmative ("Clears TRX4 and SCX10.3 portal axles"), I believe so - the offset variations are created in how you choose to assemble the wheel.

I have a set of the standard width ProBuilds, granted - I have not built them up yet, but the offsets are changed by running the narrower wheel half on the inside or outside, by sandwiching the wheel face in between or inside or outside the wheel halves, and then there is also the thin steel clamping ring.

IMHO, these ProBuild wheels are extremely cool - you can order them in so many different varieties and even piece-by-piece for a full custom build.

Funny thing is that I currently am pretty much maxed out on wheels and tires - but as soon as someone releases a tire that I absolutely MUST have, I sure hope that it's a 1.9 so I can get another set of these and go crazy!

I didn't see the comment you referenced, and it's good news. I will be scooping up a set for my long-term Bomber build.

Regarding the offset adjustment, I don't think you can sandwich the wheel face between the barrels. I think that would require a wider inner ring to clamp the beads.

A lot of why I like them is note by Durok, once the funds are there,I’ll order a set for the Jimny, now if they had 5Lug aluminum faces, I’d probably look at them for my SCX10 too!

Think this is what I’ll get for the Jimny

And with the planning I’ve made for a Dynahead, this is what I’d get for that

Ya may have got me there, didn't think that all the way though...

Still, 4 offsets WITHOUT buying any different hubs!

And they sell 5 different offsets of hubs total, one of which is stock, and another mounts directly over the axle pins to seriously narrow your track width...

The available options are nearly limitless!

I ordered 1 for now to test fit on the Jimny, once I confirm they’ll clear the hubs, I’ll order the rest!

^^^ Nice choice of colors! ^^^

Mine are the ones BJoe said he'd get for his DynaHead...

I still haven't even decided what rig, and what rubber they're gonna get wrapped in.

Thanks...I'm stoked that the bronze face came a bit more brown than the web image showed.

I almost got the matte black barrels, but wanted a little bit of color added. I guess I can order them later if I change my mind!

Agreed on that color combo, looks way better in the pic that in the drawing!

Can’t wait to get my 5 spoke wheel in to see how well it fits the portals, after that I’ll just need tires to call that truck done!

Brilliant concept, they raise the bar on scale appearance as well imo.

Judging by that pic, we've made the right choice there

And built with a tire mounted...

Being used to Locked Up and CNC Custom wheels, these are a real PITA to build. Maybe the "Pro" means that you need to be proficient at building wheels to put them together. Aside from the difficulty, I'm really stoked on the appearance and overall quality of these. My first Boom Racing purchase and I'm very pleased.

*edit* I'll be adding center caps and scale hardware for the SSD brake hubs.

*edit2* These also clear Axial Portals at max backspacing.
