I was just thinking that maybe if someone came up with something innovative that they could then step up and produce them for all of us, or perhaps one of the bigger manufactures would work with them in getting the item mass produced.

I'd be lying if I said that very thought wasn't rattling around somewhere in the back of my mind. Bob came up with the idea, I thought it was perfect.

It'll be exciting to see what everyone comes up with.

Duuuuude I have a predicament.
I've waited to post this in hopes of finding a solution. Take a look at my join date, thats the same time I caught interest in RC scale crawlering. I just barely started and I don't own a crawler yet. What am I to do?

What is WooPigSoo talking about? below

Explain how that gives you the right to be rude and insult the hell out of me? You owe me an apology. You were WAY out of line.
This is what you posted before you covered it up with an edit " You can start by posting in the correct forum".
I was in the right forum, even if I was n't you have no reason to slam someone with insults.

Actually i believe the newbie general section would be a better place to ask what to do if you want a crawler and don't already have one. But since you're already here and you're a paying member I would suggest checking out the classifieds and post in the wanted section what you're looking for and browse the for sale section.

I do apologize for what was originally said. Even though it wasn't meant for you. If you need a specific crawler I'm sure someone will accommodate you. Hell I'll help you find someone with the rig you need!

He was asking what he should do concerning the challenge, not where to look for one.

If this turns into a bitch fest I'll have a mod clean it up...so nobody waste their breath on it...

Thank you for the apology. Please try to be careful what you type on the forums. Since there is no voice to relay the emotion of the sentance, words can be mistaken. even if it wasn't meant for them.

The entry cutoff was a couple of days ago.

I'll give you and any other slackers until tomorrow night to join in, after that, tough biscuits.

To clarify the rules a little: you can make something that is already manufactured, just not carbon copies of them. Bonus points for creating something that isn't yet offered though.
