So I have been trying to find a dually rear wheel set even if its not beadlock but I just can't find one. I am trying to find something that holds the stock width but no luck with that in 1.7 or 1.9. I really don't want to run a 1.55 as the stock wheels are supposed to be 19.5" for a truck wheel. I might just say no dually and pick up a set of RC4WD hummer wheels or just use the ones I have that look more so like half ton 50's wheels. My other option is to design my own wheels when I get the 3d printer? I guess time will tell.

Here's an idea so stupid if you tell anyone I even bothered to share it I'll deny it emphatically, but what the hell...

What if you took two relatively short, narrow 1.9 scaley tires...93mm MSTs say, and narrow wheels, and mounted one with a regular flat nut, not a convex lock nut (which I don't have so imagine)...

Then, you tapped a short rod (Axial strut for example) to your stub shaft thread (M4, M5?) and mounted it to the stub shaft...shown mounted to the second wheel/tire here...

Then you mounted said second tire to the outer end of the mounted rod/strut with a screw (M3 here for effect)...

Then you'd wind up with this...

Stupid, right? Yeah, I thought so too. Forget I said anything.

I actually had a similar idea. I might give it a whirl and see how it works

Looking forward to seeing what you work out. I'd suggest using the same size tires for the dually sets, which I just noticed I didn't.

You could just get the King Kong wheels & tires...they're 1.7's and not too pricey. Probably wouldn't use the tires...

Starting to look like I want it. Don't mind the gangsta lean, it Only has tires on one side.

You don't have time for whatever the hell that is! Get back to that truck!!

Looks like the end will justify the diversion.

Yes I have some parts I want to make so the diversion should only improve the build! Well one can hope any way.

I used to design and build automated industrial equipment so building this 3d printer is quite fun!

Ambitious, to be sure. Going to start with dually wheels or simpler?

I think the first is going to be a battery box integrated into the side fuel tanks with mud flap mounts.

Coupling nuts will accomplish dual rear wheels the way 2mtech suggested.

Nice 3d printer!

I like that better. Makes the duals sit the axle without sticking out, like tubbing it.

Based on the rest of this build, while constructing a 3d printer, I do not doubt that for a minute.

Well turns out I have a bad axis controller on my X axis so I played with the trucks a little.

Yeah, a 2d printer would be boring.

Door looks perfect :-)

Wheels are starting to look like I want. Need to dull them up a little yet and maybe a little more rust.
