| just throwing this out there..
when i first got my dig i noticed a wobble on the rear driveshaft where it connects to the dig output(worked fine on flat, but steeper inclines would result in that nasty clicking)......... figured the output wasnt true or the brass pin was not true......... sent it to DNA, they went thru it, got it back it was a little better(still slipped outta 4wd on steep/load)....... then I read a post about a GC2 w/ DNA dig(which is what i have), and saw/read about a "spacer" to raise the tranny/dig a little to CLEAR THE RODEND of Lower Link @ the skid. my wobble was the result of tightening the front of tranny flush w/ skid and the rear(dig unit) being pushed/held up because the rodend wasnt letting it sit level with the axial tranny and skid plate. so the rear of the dig would "ramp up", causing that wobble. hope that makes sense.... so, if you have a wobble check and make sure that the dig unit is clearing the rear lower link/s rodends......... if thats not the reason for your wobble, something inside is probably not right-theres only 3-4 parts so try to find the one thats not true-or get the rebuild kit w/ the updated fork-or of course contact DNA they will help you out. havent seen much on this topic so thought i'd try to help(it is easily overlooked,,,,i didnt realize for about 2-3weeks, probably too busy having negative feelings toward DNA......sorry DNA, it was my fault)......by the way my dig runs true now, and have not had a single issue.............to all the people having problems-once you get it working as it should, youll see why DNA is the best. |

We very much appreciate you taking the time to post your experience and the troubles you ran into...and most of all thanks for letting us know that you got fixed up! The last thing we want is for someone to get frustrated and have a perfectly good dig unit just sit...especially when mine is constantly beggin for mercy from my heavy trigger finger Thanks! I sent a email about a replacement front output shaft from tinyjc77@yahoo.com) but after reading thru this thread i see you guys have upgraded rebuild parts? I have one of the first digs ever made and after countless hrs of adjusting a sanding down brass pins and everything else trying to get it smooth and get everything to fit and work i got it to where it is not to bad but not a 100%. But i do see that the newer parts make it smooth as butter and i would love for mine to work like that. I run a very heavy rig 11lbs so the dig does get some abuse on it but i can not keep mine from popping out of dig into neutral when on a hill. I does not do it every time but it does happen alot. If you could just throw in a rebuild kit price for the newer parts in the email that would be great. And any help you can give on fixing the popping out issue would also be great. All end points are set correct i get very little wear on the parts inside( I would know as many times as i have had to open it to work on it) but i just cant get it to run a 100%
