hey folks, in the middle of searching (the search function here is pretty non helpfull). today while running, My Dig output shaft snapped off.

axial 2.2 custom MB Tuber, with stock axial tranny, DNA Dig, powered by Rooster combo and 4400 2s MA saddle pack. useing MIP drives.

everything has been smooth and working very good. the sets in the MIPS have loosed up a few times, and gnalled up the end of the dig output shaft, but never appeared to be putting any lateral type forces on it.

so today i was making a run up a line, and my rear drive shaft falls down. im thinking, shit, it sat for 3 days after locktiting the set screws in the last time before i ran, i cant believe they came loose again.

then i picked up my truck and go to put it back on, and look to see the output shaft snapped off. Anyone else have this perticular issue? ive not yet seen a thread on one, but just started my search?

how much is a new output shaft?

the Dig is the Orig VF dig, before DNA picked them up. so i doubt theres any warrenty, which is fine. just need to find out where to get an output shaft.

I just ordered some berg offset Snipers and was wondering why they hit my knuckles?
I have shimmed them and they are working out good so far.
Couple guys in area run them never heard talk of hitting and was wondering what I might have different on my rig to cause this will take some pics and post if you thinkit might help?
let me know

X2 got my 11.1's on the way an dwill be ready to install my puller as soon as they get here. I will also have the tranny apart to install the aluminum gears so it would be nice to get the steel dig parts and do it all at once.

We are midway through cutting the first batch of steel internal upgrade kits! Spools are done, and we are into the drive dogs and dig outdrives now

I'm also working on a new bracket that relocates the dig servo and is adjustable for a variety of servo sizes including standard. Should have more news on that later this week

Default Mini SS Lower Skid Plate Has Uneven Drilling

Hello DNA,

I bought the mini ss conversion for the mrc and noticed the lower skid plate was drilled wrong.

The distance between the left and right lower mounting points are uneven and cause my links to bind when articulating to one side, so it's totally biased and causing uneven handling.

Is there any way you could please send me a replacement for this?

Just wanted to let you guys know that I received my DNA Dig & DNA Axial motor plate last night from RCP Crawlers. What a beautifully done piece of work that dig unit is! It did have some leftover aluminum flashing inside the unit, but a Qtip cleaned most of it out.

It will be used with a wheely king axled rig. Shafts have already been created to fix the ax10 trans and the WK axles. Now I just need to figure out the proper length of the shaft off the dig unit side. I will be trying it out with the suggested HS-225mg servo and using a DX3r setup as well. I have seen Mrpink's tech thread on how to program it for the dx3r as well.

I will be reading back over this thread for any install tips that aren't included with the directions on the webpage.

Friend of mine mentioned that he sanded down some of the anodizing due to that "millimeter" worth of anodizing not sitting perfectly flush. However, he never mentioned on where abouts the sanding was apparently needed? Any thoughts on that?

I just got a dna dig yesterday and I believe I am having an issue with the out drive w/ the brass pin. It is slightly bent and is causing freewheel to bind up pretty bad. I have tried to straighten it out but I'm still having issues.

once you get them out to RPP, I'll try another DNA dig unit. Any ideas on costs for the HD pieces?
