I may consider mounting them where the battery is and mounting the battery up top, assuming the items will fit.

I ran my electronics on the rear axle once. Didn't like it, don't recommend it. Gobs of wiring and no real protection. Plus I had to add even more weight to the front to keep it balanced.

There is a ton of room between the links and the driveshaft to put whatever you want. another ax10 build, it's a 2.2 esse |

Everyones going new school with all these wheels lately. Well I'm being cheap and going old school. $8.00 later and some shop time, I have wheels at correct offset and only .5oz These are right at 1" wide. I was going to dye them first but got excited. |
