My only issue is more of tidiness issue, I'm not a big fan of running the battery leads from one side to the other.

I could mount them in the chassis, but I want to keep the cg out of the frame area.

Yeah, that's the one downfall that I thought of as well.
I can't stand wires either.

I may consider mounting them where the battery is and mounting the battery up top, assuming the items will fit.

I ran my electronics on the rear axle once. Didn't like it, don't recommend it. Gobs of wiring and no real protection. Plus I had to add even more weight to the front to keep it balanced.

There is a ton of room between the links and the driveshaft to put whatever you want.

Ill have to check what I got but I may have some small pieces of CF I can send you if you want. nothing giant but carbon fiber is carbon fiber

Everyones going new school with all these wheels lately. Well I'm being cheap and going old school.

$8.00 later and some shop time, I have wheels at correct offset and only .5oz

If you do another set, dye the pieces before gluing them. I've done it before and it worked like a charm.

Are those from MTHEAD? He has done a couple of sets for me and my buddy Rcjunky3 out here in Socal and we are really liking them. Light weight beadlock thats for sure. He made some for our supers too.
