Hi,

Some news, EuroCrawl ready !!
I made the 4 carry-weight

The rear carry-weight are more simple. They are 10 tungsten cubes for env. 50g. In a front, they are 17cubes, for env.85g.

Now the new main of checking the balance of crawling. The rig is RTR with lipo but no wheel !!

The new CF wheels are prepared, with a small break-in head for foams!! But by butcher them, that does it.

Hi,

For where to start?!!! I still have of them the eyes which shine Thank you with all for this absolutely incredible moment!!!!! Particularly with Samu and its team which one to organize this competition

The assessment of the races:
In 2.2Pro:
I made a honourable 17th place with a score to qualif +4, but I forget some bonus gate which could have reduced me in the negative one. Certain course, of which the 3 are very hard…

In 2.2S:
  • race 3 occurs well, with the 2 bonus gates made and only 3 reverse.
  • race 4, I take a very bad trajectory on the first bonus gate which makes me lose much time and which failed to cost me the race, whereas it could be caught very easily elsewhere… as a result not time to make the 2nd bonus and I finished the race limit level time.
  • race 5, I make the 2 bonus but I very stupidly touch a gate on one of them…
  • race 6, everyone tells me it is a very difficult course(oops one traced it with Fred, finally more him that me, me I slept ) I do not take risk on that and I zap the second bonus. I finished with 40s, therefore I had time to make it…
  • race 1, catastrophes!! I am completely out of the race and I do anything, I made a gatte on 2 and double gatte on 3. I forgot gate 4 , which costs me very dear level time, it misses me 5s to finish the race. That shows a pathetic DNF…
  • race 2, a perfect, 2 bonus and not penality.
At the end of qualif, I am 2nd without hope to return on Sanu, but I have a comfortable margin compared to 3rd. I make good finally, but as with my practice, I forget a bonus (what does not change anything with the result). I thus finished 2nd with 70pts of the first but also have 60pts 3rd. It is with final very good performance, knowing that Samu is untouchable. I miss of much training vis-a-vis him. It can be constant and especially very fast.

2.2's:
1.Samu Sarka, Finland (middle)
2.Stephan Quartararo, France (left)
3.Gabriele Biaggi, Italy (right)

The margouillat made 20 races without any problems during this WE, 6 in 2.2pro and with the double stard in 2.2S, it in fact 14. Only the rear axes broke, but it with a pilot error, that with can be quickly repaired!!

All my congratulations Samu !! Can be the next year!!

So you run your 2.2s in 2.2Pro? I used to do that just to get more drive time before I have a proper pro rig.... Well Done on the Comp...

Yes I run with my sporty in 2.2pro, because :
  1. I don't have pro
  2. I made only one comp per year, it's a good training before 2.2S

Hi,

Well, New Years, new resolution, new challenges and new projects!!

Having to meet DravTech in Spain and having been able to judge his work with the printers 3D , I try my chance.
The idea is to print in a one block the skid and trany, always with R2 gears. The frame is always in carbon and is very close to the frame of current Margouillat.

First proto in 3D :

I expect this week the first proto, to validate the principle, because they are lots of interrogations, the precision for the housing of the bearings, the rigidity of the unit, the skid it sufficiently will slip… Much of questions and I hope for good answers quickly

Congrats on your EuroCrawl results Stephan.

Your work has been inspirational for many years and you never fail to amaze. This new printed tranny skid looks just brilliant.
