That's amazing just read the thread from the start i just wish I had the funding to do a build like this are you going to get the hard top for it

Thank You! Never too late to work on your own rig just take your time building up, I do plan on going with a hard top when I do my own color body.

What stock parts are needed from the kit to build these awesome axles .
Example did you use the stock bearings or do the VP Currie Axles come with all that is needed ?
What did u end up running in the diffs?
Could you give the part # needed to build the bullet proof transmissiion from Robinson racing please .
RR 1542+1541 replaces ax80010 , yes/no ?
RR 1550 replaces the axial slipper unit/spur gear assembly ax30412,ax30411,ax30672 , yes/no ?
What replaces the 20T drive gear ax30394 ?

Please do steal it that's why I posted it up, I am really happy with it, just take your time soldering the wire and routing the wires. As for the RX please stay tuned for that setup. I have 2 more ESC (FXR & B1R) a Castle BEC and RX to water proof in boxes.

-The only thing stock that I used were the stock rear shaft.

Example did you use the stock bearings or do the VP Currie Axles come with all that is needed ?

-I did not use the stock bearing but since left the stock axles alone for another project but you could use all of the stock bearings on the new Currie Axles.

What did u end up running in the diffs?

-For diffs I'm using AX30401 Heavy Duty Bevel Gear Set 36T/14T with VP Lockers

-Yes, both RR 1542 and 1541 is what I'm using!

-I'm not using any of those parts I'm using a Locked spur gear with no slipper.

What replaces the 20T drive gear ax30394 ?

-Just leave that stock.

Just to confirm then all I need is Ax10-02/GR and a spur gear of my choice RR 1587 and RR 1541 Rr 1542 and keep the stock drive .
I`ll be running the VP Transmission housing and the VP gear guard do I still have to get a motor plate or is that come with the gear guard ?

All of those parts would be find as long as you are running the locked shaft on the first shaft on the very top so the AX10-02/GR will work with, the slipper setup will not work with that.

VP gear guard comes with the motor plate no need to buy anything else with it..

I seen a guy on Facebook and maybe here called bgr fab he makes a front bumper that looks similar to the stock that I think would suit this build good

Been super busy so I havn't gotten to work on my Jeep as much as I would like. So to start on the update I want to share with you guys one of the first proto type RC ROCK ARMOR rear bumper for the Axial Jeep JK. It will all be bolt on which will allow you to mount a rear winch with it's rear fair lead and also a hitch mount. I hope you guys like it, more updated to come stay tuned!

Sorry totally forgot, thank you I edited it on the original post. The bumper is a new RC Rock Armor Rear Bumper, be on the look out for it

RC Rock Armor already has a front bumper that would work great for this BUT there may be something new in the making just stay tuned for that.
