Thx. I grabbed a set for myself. Think I'm going to sell the 4 XD Piggybacks I bought.

I found them on Amazon. I must have got the last 4 on the planet. They seem perfectly nice to me but they are a little on the large size and there's not much room left around the back ones. In fact there's no room especially running with the rear Da Box installed. So, I have 2 XD 103mm Aeration shocks in the back and the 103mm piggybacks in the front. The mis-match bugs me a little but I suppose it's not that big of a deal.

Just wondering for crawling do you want 3 hole pistons or 1 hole pistons?

I'm guessing they're 110mm.

I've been experimenting with HPI wheely/crawler king shocks thanks to my friend. At 117mm extended and 77mm compressed I think they are the ticket. At this point I am looking at buying the aluminum threaded version and running my soft kit wraith springs. |

Man, those Kings are soft. Definitely a crawler shock. The XD's are much more suited to general bashing.

My stock RTR shocks are super soft right now. All the shock fluid has leaked out of them!!!!!

Question for anyone that is using the proline powerstroke rear shocks, how much travel do they have? i am looking for a quality shock that has a little bit more travel than the stock plastic ones thanks |

No video but I have used the following method on my Venom 138mm shocks. (essentially the same as the integy...) Use losi 4" springs of whatever desired rate you choose. use two upper spring retainers (the plastic "stepped" ring that separates pre-load adjusters from the spring itself) glued together to make a connector for two separate springs to fit aligned on one shock. (think RC4WD King Shocks spring setup.) Then cut one spring shorter to the desired length to fill the shock with a full length spring. You can use this to get dual rate springs, adjust pre-load without having to run the adjustment collar down so much. I also use two pair of needle nose pliers to adjust the last coil on the cut spring so it sits flat like the ends of a stock spring. Step 12: Have fun. | |

You could, but with such small wire you may affect the rate...

I'm swapping out the 138mm Venom shocks in the rear of my Wraith for GMade XD piggybacks (103mm.) There was just too much travel in the rear. |

After owning the Gmade piggybacks for 4 months or so I hate them , Just traded for some Losi crawler shocks . Way to stiff and leaked badly .. Love the Losi's Jack. |

I've been running the gmade xd aerator shocks up front with no leakage whatsoever for about 4 months.
