Since this is a budget build what would you replace the stock motor with when it quits on you?

I'll be going with a Holmes motor when it goes. Down the road it will be a Tekin brushless.

lol I noticed that awhile a go. Harley must be one of those raw kinda grip guys

hows she do in the 1/4 mile

ounce anchored in the hobby a good radio is a wise investment. ive been in the flying things hobby for a few years and fly with a dx8 it took me a long time to decide I was in it enough to justify 400 plus radio. but I gota say for flying its one of the best damn things ive done. for cars id imagine its the same one good radio will last a very long time and be true investment as things with wheels will come and go the radio will stay true

Haha, yes the grip is missing on that one. I had switched to one of my VP 1.9 wheels on there for awhile and switched it back off for a video. Just haven't put it back on.

I don't use my 4PL all that often, I use my 4PKS-R for most my rigs but wanted to have this one on another radio for people to use if I was driving my rigs.

About the links, I know you are using this Titanium set but if I will go with a more budgeted Aluminium one,s, what is the difference in the links shape?

First ones are uppers, second ones are lowers, third is a full set. Make sure those are all captured if you don't run them between two mount locations

I feel stupid... new to the RC cars... Have been to airplanes and multicopters for few years now

Any recommendations for budgeted lower links which I saw are the first one's to break?

As a newbie to this hobby what makes the Holmes motors so popular? Will you have to change out the stock ESC when you upgrade the stock motor? I think a motor upgrade will be in my future real soon because my stock 20t gets hot way to quick. I've switched my gears to 84/16 but can still only get about 10min of runtime before the motor is too hot to touch.

Do not buy any of the Chinese link sets with the rod end integrated into them. They are garbage, the rod ends become sloppy incredibly fast.

Find a set from a vendor here at least, one that uses 4mm threads (or similar standard size) and uses a Traxxas rod end. There are stainless steel options available from R2J that will save you some cash.

Spend the money once on some to that will last, can't stress that enough.

I plan on building this truck into the best of the best week by week. So that is why I went with Ti lowers instead of a more budget option.

Quality parts and construction basically. I will be going with a higher turn motor so I will not be changing the ESC.

We have one right down the road with one but the carts are super slow after you have driven adult carts on concrete.

I'm placing an order with TowerHobbies for the PSC.
What other parts can I get there?

1. Axial Universal Axle Set - TowerHobbies.com | Axial Universal Axle Set
2. MIP C-Drive Spline AX10/Scorpion - is this the right set? TowerHobbies.com | MIP C-Drive Spline AX10/Scorpion
Traxxas Screw Pin 4x15mm Revo - TowerHobbies.com | Traxxas Screw Pin 4x15mm Revo (6)
What about the "Integy HD Universal Drive Shaft Black Wraith (2)"? Looks more PnP (less adjustments) - TowerHobbies.com | Integy HD Universal Drive Shaft Black Wraith (2)
3. Links - I could not find those R2J online... Are the Integy Lower Suspension Links are good enough? - TowerHobbies.com | Integy Lower Suspension Links Black Wraith (4)
Are the "Vanquish Products Wraith 3/16 Diameter Titanium Lower Links" much better? http://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/vps03135.htm
4. Integy Alloy Servo Horn 25T Blue Futaba Servo, or should I take Axial Servo Horn? TowerHobbies.com | Integy Alloy Servo Horn 25T Blue Futaba Servo
5. Leds? As my friends are doing night crawling, what lights should I get for the PSC?

Thanks!

Forget anything Integy except maybe their tools.

R2J links here

Get the Axial servo horn or the Robotronics. I found the Robotronics to be almost too long but I'm going with a red trim theme on my Wraith so I went with it. The Axial horn works perfectly.

R2J does not seems to be responsive... it might be because of the WE. Anyone knows the price of 4 lower links?
I found the "Vanquish Wraith Titanium lower links VPS03135" for $25 (for 2 links), so if the R2J is in that neighborhood, I might get the TI...
