I'm having an issue with end point adjustments on mine. When I select end points it allows me to adjust ch1 steering to the right only but does not recognize when I move the wheel to adjust the other side. I have recalibrated the controller. Any ideas?

Actually was just playing with it with the rx off and the trigger does make it change. So powered on rx and it works but again drives forwards so I disconnected a motor wire and it works fine then reconnected the motor wire. Edit: trigger must be at full throttle position before it changes the adjustment dorection. Which is why I couldn't get it to work before as I never tried full throttle. Gonna bring this back to level 1, I'm interested in getting one of these gt3b's. Being a noob and not knowing any better, how many channels will I need in order to run a winch and lights? Those will be the only extras I use, and will only use two lights. Thanks |

| Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread If you want to switch the lights on with a button then you will need 4 channels. Or you can wire up the lights to be always on and just use the stock 3ch rx. The 3ch rx has a 4th slot for powered devices like lights or fans.

Throttle ( 1 Channel) Winch (1 Channel) Lights ( 1 Channel per Light controller) So 4 channels assuming you're only going to be using a single light controller to control both of your lights

Cool, so I would just need one additional receiver and leave two of those channels on the second one open correct? I'll be ordering one within the next month or so and want to make sure I order correctly. Thanks |

Most people use the 6ch and leave the ch5 and 6 unused.

$11 plus shipping from inside the US. I'm using it with a hacked GT3B. Works perfect. http://www.valuehobby.com/radio-syst...ky-fs-r6b.html Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk |

Hi guys, first post after lurking around for months. I'm about to buy me an intelligent radio, something to grow into and that will last for a while. Working as a software developer myself I'm a little worried that there hasn't been any development on this firmware for over three years. Is this simply because there's no more wrinkles to iron out, which I hardly believe, or is the project stalled, but that I don't think when seeing the intensity in this thread. Is it future safe to order a Flysky GT3C with the nice firmware hack or are there other options I should consider first? |

I do have another version I've been working on for the last couple years. But progress is very slow because the comp crawler scene has kinda died around here. Which means my comper has been torn apart in pieces for over a year now and it's hard to add functionality and test without a crawler.

Does that mean it's geared more for MOA?

| Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread Yes, mostly the mods I made were mainly for moa mixing. From what I remember I made it so there was a default bias/center/reset point so you could reset to bias instead of an even mix on momentary, long click, back click operations. That default bias point was key adjustable as well, so it could be adjusted while driving. Along the same lines I made it so previous value could be adjusted while in a momentary operation. Because I wanted to be able to push my channel 3 button for dig and if I didn't want to go back to the mix value I was at when I let off I could adjust my previous value with my non momentary mix switch while still digging. Very hand for steep climbs when you go into dig to try and bite in but then want to have the rear push a little. Instead of going back to a 10% bias I could adjust it to 90% while still digging, then let off and get that 10% power to the rear. I also was experimenting with using a potentiometer/lever to control a mix. I was also experimenting with pulse mixing, to rapidly go in and out of dig and abuse the shit out of the esc and motors. I don't remember why I wanted todo this though. But I never released it because there was a bunch of bugs when I tried to make it part of all the menu's and user selectable. For testing I was just hard coding the functions in. |
