I was reading, thoroughly this time, through the manual. It appears it'll be sweet if there's no bugs...there is alot of mixing options, and it appears they can be setup for dual esc. And the switches can be programmed to channels and such. I'm not sure what the level of flexibility is though as it never went into specifics.

That's a sweet looking unit. I saw it when I was researching radios. I just figured Losikid would post it up once it was ready for the US Market.

If it can be hacked, it would be sweet.

It's ready...shipping from china and fcc legal, flysky was on the ball for fcc, usually they aren't certified well after they have been released

I'm pretty sure it can be hacked, but it'll take me some time...

.....

I'll be ordering myself a radio soon, i'd like todo a whole saleorder instead though.

If your interested in a STOCK radio, email me at losikid@overkillrc.com ... I'll offer you the best price on the web

I won't guarantee functionality, but i will guarantee that you'll be the first to run OverkillRC firmware if/when i write it. I say if/when because i'm not sure how easy flysky made it to write a new firmware for it, and i'm not sure how long it'll take me to develop it. I'm hoping by the end of summer it'll be ready to go

Anyone get all the way through the manual? I got too busy at work doing, you know, work today and didn't get to it much.

For me I'd want the following:
1. Throttle mix for 2 ESC MOA
2. Programmable dig on the buttons (press and hold one for rear dig, press and hold other for front dig) or maybe tap to toggle front/rear on/off, but not sure how I feal about that becuase I really like the way my GT3B works in that regard.
3. Dig proportion
4. 4WS (looks like it already has it)

Looks pretty snazzy. In no time FS will be making radios as expensive as the name brand ones

It can mix, the mix can be assigned to buttons. I'm not sure how the buttons can be programmed

according to the manual

I planned on trying an order towards the end of the week, but my sample iT4 is still in the mail, so it may not be till 2013 when i can place my order.

I plan on doing a full review and bug search before i offer these to ya'll

Well, i got my iT4, and play'd with it for afew minutes...first step, turn the sound off.

I can't play with it much more tonight...i turned a mix on, and according to the screen its mixing channels but i haven't had a chance to play with the assign key menu.

The touch screen isn't like a smartphone...it needs abit of pressure, not a feather light tap.

Sweet. I'd love to see mixing percent adjust for dual esc and dig control. I know a lot of guys like the tap to turn on/off dig in a certain direction but I like to press/hold of the thumb button for dig. This way you can just press/hold the end of the truck you want stopped.

I guess I'm just used to my GT3B with the thumb buttons (mixing percent on one and front/rear dig for the other)

Its nothing to be concerned about, it doesn't need alot of pressure, its just not a capacitive like most smart phones now adays...its a resistive touch screen like older pda's. Basically it requires some pressure on the screen to touch layers together to get the position of the touch. It also has a rather nice stylus too.

I use my phone now with about the same pressure as i was using with the iT4 touch screen...so maybe thats why it doesn't bug me. I'm not sure how many people use a feather light touch with their phones.

The screen is responsive and doesn't lag between menu's. I haven't had it in the sunlight yet though.

How does it feel compared to the GT3C? Is the steering wheel placement comfortable? I'm looking forward to the review. Cheers.

The mailman played Santa Claus and got me a Flysky FS-iT4. Surprise, I was expecting it in January!

First impressions :
- Feather weight
- Too cool
- Accelerating car sound on turn on/off . Lol show-off!
- Graphical view of RC components integrated to the interface
- Live telemetry
- Lipo powered
- Adjustable TX voltage warning
- Proper english and detailed Help integrated to the interface. No booklet or CD included in the box.
- The screen feel is different then from our other touch-type electronic toys. Resistive vs Capacitive stuff it seems, thanks to this thread for the teaching.
- Good hand grip. I like the extra buttons directly on the handle :
- Middle finger switch
- Little finger switch
- Thumb 2 buttons Up / Down
- Thumb Up/Down 3 position sitch (auto-centered in midle)
- The index triggers the throttle as usual
- 3rd and 4th channels are digital. I would have like to seen two mouse wheel type "buttons" instead
- The adjustable wheel angle "option" looks like the week point. I bet on the end of this product via a breakage at this point. Unless we mod it upfront...
- So, to the Flysky programmers. The interface is state of the art.
- Cool live tuning graphical interface. You can power up your RC, place it upside down on a work bench and tune it via the TX touch screen GUI : End point, expo, dead zone, button assignments... 4 channels yea! Well done Flysky

So it's Christmas, and as an old kid with a bit of time, I will go connect this toy to my XR-10... and get a second impression...
